Shaking off the cobwebs carries a double-meaning I think. Of course, she’s cleaning off the mannequin’s cobwebs, but she is shaking off her own symbolic cobwebs as well. She’s not really a fish out of water anymore. Perhaps slowly she’s becoming a Master of the Two Worlds?
