Lena had the absurd urge to laugh, but her body felt like lead and the heavy weight of the situation made the laugh come out as more of a breathless gasp.
Kara was Supergirl.
How could Lena have been so blind? She had the impulse to push Kara off of her, but she couldn’t thanks to the knot that kept them joined.
“So you thought the best time to tell me the truth was when you were stuck inside me?” Lena asked incredulously, her lips pulling tight against her teeth in anger.
“I— I’ve wanted to tell you for so long. Please – you — you said — you could feel me.” Kara’s face looked so different without the glasses, but her eyes conveyed all of her emotions just as they always had and she was staring at Lena as she whispered fiercely, “That’s real, Lena, what I feel for you. It always has been.”
Believing Kara didn’t change the fact that she lied for years, but how could Lena act as if she had the moral high ground when she was keeping Rara a secret?
The thought of the split Super brought a fresh wave of guilt and Lena lost some of her rage to the panic that pumped in her veins. How could she explain to Kara that she had technically already slept with her? It made sense, in a twisted way, how Lena had been so drawn to Rara because she seemed so similar to Kara. She just hadn’t realized it was because Rara was actually a part of her. In hindsight, Lena should have asked more questions when Rara had seen the image of Kara on her phone and fussed so much over it.
Lena certainly had a type.
“I’m going to withhold judgment for now,” Lena stated in a clipped tone of voice, although her face held more judgment than could be found at the front of a court room. “I’m sure you had reasons to continue lying to me. Maybe you justified it because you thought my enemies would use my relationship with you against me. I assume you trust very few people with your secret.”
She could think of several accusations to throw at Kara, but Lena only pouted sourly and stared up at the alpha.
The knot inside of her pussy still pulsed, and when Kara did eventually slip free, Lena noticed two things: the guilty way Kara avoided looking at her and the burst top of the condom. Both sights made her stomach roll with dread.

She stood up and moved around in an aimless way, as if she had forgotten the most basic lay-out of her own bedroom. “But there were other reasons, too.”
“Kara.” Lena raised her voice and flicked her eyes down to the condom in Kara’s hand.
Following Lena’s gaze finally clued Kara into what had her so speechless, and she blinked a few times at the empty latex, confused by the lack of fluids inside it. Then her eyes widened, and she glanced between Lena’s thighs with slack jawed understanding. “Oh.” It was barely a sound, more of a suggestion of panic as Kara hurriedly tossed the ruined condom in the trash and came to Lena’s side with worried, apologetic eyes. “I’m sorry. I’ll - I should get you the um – the—”
“Pill?” Lena supplied in a bit of a daze, her fingers slipping between her pussy lips to touch the sticky mess that Kara had left behind. It was right around then that Lena realized that Kara Danvers wasn’t a disguise. Supergirl was, and that epiphany had a deep impact on the feelings of betrayal that had taken root within Lena over the past five minutes.
“You should pick up the pill and then meet me at my apartment,” Lena suggested and began collecting her clothes from the floor and edge of the bed.
It probably would have lessened the shock value to mention Rara beforehand, or at least explain all of the events that led up to Lena sleeping with two Supers, but she was too distracted by Kara’s arousal. Her heat put all kinds of indecent thoughts in her mind, especially the thought that if she took a pill, she could allow Kara to come inside of her again.
“While I’m in heat, maybe you want to spend a few nights at my place,” Lena mentioned with a shrug, and if not for the heavy cloud of her omega desperation in the air, it might have sounded convincingly like she was offering casual sex.
Even with her lingering anger, Lena knew she would be incapable of keeping her hands off of Kara. She shouldn’t be making any sexual propositions, or staring so hungrily at Kara that she was practically salivating as she had visions of the alpha’s cock in her throat. It was important to stay focused, or risk the most valuable relationship in her life.
The whole purpose of inviting Kara to her apartment was to introduce her to Rara and explain their complicated situation.
“When you arrive, I need to have an important conversation with you,” Lena added with a tiny gulp of fear, because she was reluctant to hurt Rara or Kara.
Kara was such a cheerful and uplifting person to be around, and Lena had always hated to see her sad or angry. She couldn’t imagine what it would be like to experience Kara brokenhearted.

Maybe now is a good time to say that this story isn't going to come to a resolution that quickly. Lol.
