“She huh?” Sam smirked, and inclined her head to the TV where Supergirl was being broadcast live extinguishing a fire started by a masked man with only her breath. “Your mystery lover wouldn’t look anything like that, would she?”
“Are you here to speculate, or to help me out?” Lena muttered, knowing full well that Sam had borne the brunt of her many brokenhearted rants when she had found out that Kara was actually Supergirl.
Lena ignored the playful grin on Sam’s lips and picked up the Naltorian device Kara had left on her desk. She stalked towards the private elevator to enter her code, and grimaced when sparks emerged around the hole where her finger had stabbed at the first digit.
“Looks like we’ll be taking the emergency elevator to the lab.” Lena sighed, staring at her uninjured finger as though it may lash out and attack her.
“Better let me push the buttons,” Sam intoned and gawked when Lena lifted her cellphone and accidentally crunched it to pieces. “I’ll call maintenance, and you keep your hands to yourself until we’re in the lab.”
With their backs to the TV, neither of them noticed that Supergirl’s fists landed with no impact, or how she compensated by using her heat vision.

I really like how each update to this particular story reads like an actual episode of SG well at least to me. I really like how you incorporate Sam into this story as well. I’m glad Lena has her friend back at least for the time being. The sex in this was so damn hot. I mean both Kara and Lena obviously have it bad for one another. Question is which one will fess up about their feelings first. Now the isolated incident with the freeze breath that Lena had then it suddenly being gone has me very intrigued at the moment. Very interested as to how that tidbit will play a part into the plot of this very cool and amazing story you have going here. Can’t wait to read what happens next and what you have planned.
