Perhaps the potency of her heat was the driving force behind Kara’s relentless pursuit of satisfaction. Lena blamed herself regardless as she closed her eyes to the labored groans of her alpha nearing climax, the muscles of her cunt convulsing in response.

Kara appeared enraged and attempted to wrestle the cover back onto her. “No! No, don’t you dare! Lena, I need you.”
The first blast of Kryptonite hit straight to the chest, and they both crumbled onto the floor as the green substance continued to radiate.
“I love you,” Lena whispered, holding onto Kara as she realized that the dose of green Kryptonite was just enough to knock out the Kryptonian’s extraordinary power. She rubbed a hand over Kara’s solid back, comforting her even as the Kryptonite pulsed through her veins.
Vivid reds became sickly greens and Kara’s pallor changed as the anger within her drained. She clung to Lena, her mind unfogged by the searing ache that ravaged her body, and opened her mouth in an anguished cry that had nothing to do with the physical pain.
A bond like theirs was never meant to be broken, and Lena knew even then that she would do it again, a thousand times over if it meant she saved Kara in the process. “I love you more than strawberry ice cream and science and a thousand Sunday afternoons spent reading in the rain. You gave me my heart back, Kara. You fixed me.”
A tear dripped down her nose and she felt her limbs seize, the last of the Kryptonite gone too soon. Her eyes remained open, focused on Kara’s crying and screaming face.

The blinding light of lasers lit up the lab when Kara screamed at the barrier, hysterical in her weakened state when it refused to break. She gathered her mate into her arms and yelled unintelligibly while Prime Lena reeled over the terrifying experience of seeing herself die in Kara’s arms.
Lena would have stood there numbly in a fugue state had her own Kara not responded to the wailing and broken free of her Kryptonian recovery suit. It was like Lena’s death prompted Kara to do the impossible and she acted even more crazed than the version of herself who was heavily afflicted by the Red Kryptonite.
“Lena!” Kara shouted and broke through every obstacle just to get to them, trashing the lab as Alex and the rest of their friends arrived in time to witness the destruction.
Events unfolded fast after that: her Kara handled Lex and all of his well-paid help and Alex took the grieving and infected alpha into another lab to begin administering the antidote.
Lena launched herself back into her clothes and hurried to help the broken woman on the floor with the same face as her.
“I’m not giving up on you,” Lena fiercely whispered as she readied a sterile medical bay and a heart she had experimented on with several courses of Harun-El.
Alex sent in a team to assist Lena without even fighting her on it first. They were all shaken by the death, and Lena wasn’t surprised to find out that they had to administer a sedative to the younger Kara, who was so inconsolable her first priority had been to run into the vault where they kept the Kryptonite.
Hours later, after painstakingly removing every piece of shrapnel and shard of depleted Kryptonite from the other Lena’s chest, Lena found out they had strapped the younger Kara to a gurney with sunlamps attached to it.
The surgery was grueling, and if not for the heart being subjected to so many rounds of the Harun-El, it likely wouldn’t have worked.
“She’s still in a critical state, but getting stronger every minute,” Lena informed the others, who crowded around the operating theater.
Her patient’s eyelids fluttered as heart beat became stronger and Lena pumped medicine through her IV and monitored her by the minute.
Upon awakening, Lena from the other timeline reached out to grab her hand. Lena was startled by it, but reciprocated the tender gesture and tamped down all of her awkward feelings about giving herself comfort. She knew what the other Lena needed and sat by her side until she was sleeping in peace.
Kara poked her head through the door a few hours later with a face full of guilt and a vase of flowers to place next to the bed.
“I was hoping we could talk?” Kara whispered and Lena allowed it because all of her patient’s vitals had stabilized and she felt reasonably certain they would remain that way.
She stepped out of the medical area and into the main lab, where she rolled up her sleeves and washed her hands again. It was unnecessary, but it gave her an excuse to keep her back to Kara as she wondered how much the alpha had seen of what transpired just hours ago.
“I don’t know where to begin,” Kara admitted with a deep sigh that chilled the air and tingled down Lena’s back. “Maybe with an apology, since I started all of this with a fifth dimensional imp who helped me look for a world where you wouldn’t hate me for keeping my secret from you. Where we could be together and happy.”
“That’s every world,” Lena replied and swung around to raise her eyebrow and pout her bottom lip. “We’re better when we’re together, Kara. I thought the arrival of my darkest self would show me that I should have just given in to my Luthor genetics all along, but instead it’s proven something else to me. Although my feelings are complex and at times, I can be very misguided in my idealism, all I want is to love and be loved in return. By everyone, but especially you.”
Kara hung her head as she stepped forward, her teeth worrying her lower lip as she accepted the truth of the statement. There was no knee jerk deflection or defensive pheromones this time, just humility in the form of a repentant alpha.
“I’ve been so blinded by my fear and this belief that being with you would put you in danger. I failed to realize keeping us apart was causing us the most damage,” Kara acknowledged and closed the gap between them as she picked at the webbed fabric of her Super suit that laced between her fingers in nervousness. “There will always be some kind of threat out there, but I’d rather face it with you than go another second without you at my side. Protecting you should have never resulted in hurting you, Lena. Loving you shouldn’t have meant isolating you.”
Lena’s lip trembled imperceptibly as she sucked in a breath, yet the tremor went straight through her, awakening a longing so deep that her omega clawed its way to the surface. She couldn’t speak, couldn’t make the weight of her tongue move as the rising emotion limited her vocabulary.
Kara didn’t seem to mind and took another step forward so that they were so close Lena could feel her breath when she spoke. “I know it’s selfish to ask for your forgiveness, but if I’ve learned anything from my other self, it’s that being a little selfish isn’t such a bad thing. I want you Lena, as my best friend, as my mate, as the person I come home to every night to share every detail of my day with no matter how exciting or dull. I’ll do whatever it takes to get that.”
Lena nodded and opened her arms to Kara and they embraced like they always had as friends, although now they were so much more to each other.

The Red Kryptonite cleared from Kara’s system in the middle of the night, and she wailed afterwards with Alex at her side. She was too afraid to go and check on Lena, both her mate and the other omega she had ravaged. The pain of remembering her every deed was too overwhelming and Kara became listless and unable to move after a lot of crying.
Her bravery returned with her physical strength, and when she was able to stand up on her own again, she decided to seek out her mate. Lena was awake and having breakfast with her counterpart, and Kara halted in the door as she looked at their identical faces.
“I hurt you both and I’m so — I’m so sorry,” Kara cried, shuddering all over from her chin down to her limbs.
Prime Lena set her teacup down and approached her. “You were under the influence of Red Kryptonite – a variety that Lex altered to make it even more potent and fast acting. Now I know why he compared you to a rabid dog.”
Kara’s mind had been altered by the Kryptonite in her body, but she still felt immeasurable guilt for her actions. She stared down at her black boots and didn’t lift her head again until her mate demanded attention with her scent.
Prime Lena exited the room after softly grasping at her shoulder, and then Kara stumbled forward to sink onto her knees at the feet of her omega.
She was supposed to be the hero, the one to sacrifice herself for the greater good, and yet it was Lena who saved her. Lena who had died in her arms with nothing but love on her lips, and Kara reeled from the trauma of that.
There was no elegance to the way she flung her arms around Lena’s legs — only shame as she buried her face into the hospital gown that soaked with her tears. “You were gone, you were gone and I couldn’t — I couldn’t save you.”
“Look at me Kara,” Lena instructed, only to cup Kara’s chin when it became apparent that she couldn’t bring herself to do it on her own.
Sobs stuck in Kara’s chest, restricting her lungs as she finally met Lena’s eyes. They shimmered with unshed tears and Kara submitted herself to Lena’s mercy with scent and a tentative whine.
“Love was a foreign concept until I met you,” Lena explained, the smile on her lips bittersweet as she wiped her thumb across the wet trails on Kara’s cheek. “Its presence had never touched my life, and while I might not grasp the full extent of it, what I do know is that it was worth dying for a love like yours. I don’t regret my decision, and I don’t want to be trapped by our actions that led up to that moment. All that matters is that we’re both still here, and that I have no plans of ever leaving you again.”
“If they send us back to our own timelines—” Kara voice broke off before she could finish the sentence. She had already lost Lena once, and she knew she couldn’t survive it happening again.
“They won’t,” Lena whispered. “It would be cruel to separate mates, so Lena and I have come to an agreement that it would be beneficial for us to remain here.”
Lena’s proud pheromones carried adoration and Kara inhaled them as she blinked up at her omega.
“We can all help out National City and have more time for the things that matter,” Lena muttered with her hand still under Kara’s chin as she glanced around at her medical bay. “I don’t have a Kryptonite heart anymore. The Harun-El helped heal my old injuries. We can have a long life together.”
Kara stood up to curl into the hospital bed with Lena, cuddling her against her chest as she affirmed, “I want that. I love you, Lena.”
Lena stroked her fingers through Kara’s blonde hair and smiled up at her. “I love you, too.”

Yeah I went dramatic with the near death stuff but I knew from the start I wanted Prime Lena to fix Overlord Lena's heart and help heal her body with the harun-el. 😺 Lena and Kara are definitely meant to be in every timeline! I wanted to show Lena's love was stronger than the red k but ultimately Lex used a lot of it because he's awful. Thank you very much!! I would really love to write more dark Supercorp in the future.

I guess this was the last chapter right? Omg first of all I was feeling a lot of angst with the possible dead of evil Lena and ugh I hated it but it was amazing the way it turned up, no matter how twisted their versions are, Kara and Lena are just mean to be for the other isn’t it? And even with the Red K at full Lena didn’t give up on bringing her back, sobs. It was an amazing episode, fucking hate Lex cause dude bye but well at least things got well. The sexy times were more than amazing, Dark Supercorp is a new level of smutty time, thank you so much for this one.
