Really it couldn't be helped in this case because of important things happening in the chapter. Someday I'll learn how to do shorter chapter updates, but that day is not today).
The monthly fic will be up after that, along with the next chapter of While We Watch and Lunar or Later - aiming to post them all back to back in the next few days.

I write in a weird way sometimes where I go back and forth between fics and then everything gets finished at the same time, or I have starts on a lot of things but they're like 4000 words or less, which doesn't feel like a satisfying chapter to me. I am super thankful for the patience, because I spend most of my days like, "😱I need to finish this"
