It's maybe because it took me a little while to get back to this one, and not for lack of interest. So many things I want to write, so many WIPs that just pull at my heartstrings every day to be written! ☺️ I think the theme of this chapter was communication, and Lena still has a lot to learn as she gains more experience. Lena is still figuring out her own desires and what she likes, and I wanted to include that line about being a toy not necessarily because that's how she feels, but because she wants to turn Kara on. Something they will definitely discuss later on. I almost removed that and just made it more sexy content - though it's part of Lena's self-discovering, knowing what -she- likes versus trying to impress her partner.
