By the nearing of the autumn festival, Lena’s habits changed with the colors of the leaves. She returned to the house after taking her morning walk in the orchards, and if none were around to witness it, she put up her feet and rubbed at her sore heels and arches.

This was definitely a chapter just to focus on them still bickering a bit but also appreciating each other and the couple they've become. Lena would get grumpy anyway, I'm afraid. 😂 Henshaw's a big part of this sequel and I'm excited for that story line. It does make sense wanting it as a back-burner piece, especially since I hadn't continued it for a bit.
