i don’t think it’s hypocrisy as much as it’s an attempt to atone. all the characters are like that at some point in the show. also mount weather was obviously the right call (or “only choice”) and it was him and clarke and monty who made that decision together. if you’re gonna call him out, call him out for the genocide in season three—at least that makes sense in comparison.
