Can’t blame him. She was a horrible parent and one deed doesn’t make it otherwise. Yes he could have lied about not being hurt anymore, but he didn’t. And it is what it is. He felt remorse once his pain left him... but you can’t really blame him for being as hurt as he was.

Slowest vampire death. Honestly can't blame Damon for those last words. A lot of the bad parents on this show, have one grand gesture right before they die. Naw son, doesn't change all the rest
