Maybe I can finally get the hubby to start watching now that you used a MST3K ref ^_^ As far as the safeguards go--forgive my lack of knowledge, but would you be able to retroactively apply the safeguards to previous episodes?

I didn't notice anything that worsened the experience for me.

He's used them in a couple of previous Journey episodes. Granted they showed up far fewer times.
It took me a few seconds to get used to, but the purple outline works. If there were more safeguards tested I didn't notice anything so that's a good thing.

I don't mind the new techniques and I've always like the animated Suede. I hope it works out for you.
I find the safeguards a tiny bit distracting, but I understand why they're being used. Also I'm surprised it took Suede this long to use those drawn persona's of his outside of the title cards :P

I liked what you did with the safeguards. I wouldn't consider them distracting. That being said, the new patron's name wasn't seen at the beginning.
