I think it's interesting u link a hate of this kind of story with asd, because I might hate it for similar reasons. There's an episode if the Pokémon chronicles with meowth and azumaril that's especially egregious in that regard

You gave this a Pokeball?! Man, the pandemic must have you goin' insane! I hated this hunk of bear crap, with a burning passion! Mainly because it's hands down my least favorite kind of plot, where your characters get dumbed down for cutesy imagery, and, as Suede here said, comes off as painful and cringeworthy! He may be merciful, but for me, this is without question a Dark Ball.

Ive heard the whole swapping Teddiursa and Donphan was because.... Donphan is grey, and Teddiursa is golden brown.... It seems silly, because it would be.

Oh yeah indeed, wrongly blamed for something you didn't do once, bit reminder of Britain's pointless EastEnders unlikeable womaniser Max Branning sent down for murder he didn't do yet many thought he deserved it caused of adultery And the whole Krueger as innocent/guilty child rapist in A Nightmare on Elm Street remake

It's ok Suede, we all have those tropes that we can't tolerate. For me a big one is "maybe magic maybe mundane", but the "innocent framed and caught red handed" is annoying as well
