I remember watching the Wb and getting confused with on how seasons are usually more episodes. Then again now we have online services where you can watch the whole season in a day instead of waiting until they play a new episode !

Thinking about it, it isn't weird that Articuno got an episode but the other two didn't because later in Kalos, the other two legendary birds get episodes each but not Articuno so it comes full circle... with one of them being with an extra companion who does photography so maybe that's a direct call back

Think Todd would return on Journeys? I mean so far Journeys have been bringing back classic characters as Dawn is the most with 8 with the Amazon Prime episodes this month.

You know, I just thought of something; why not have Todd be looking for SUICUNE instead of Articuno? Yeah he was looking for it last time, but they could easily solve that by him saying something like, "Nah, that's been done. Besides, I caught a glimpse of it while watching this big air fight in the Orange Islands." It would also tie in why Suicune just stood there long enough for the twerps to see them and almost immediately forget it outside a flashback or two. Plus, as Suede himself said it best, why not, you know, shell out the new sodding 'mons?!

Weird thing about Articuno's habitat: despite it being pointed out several times that Articuno lives in the mountains by the Pokedex, it's never been available in a mountanous environment in the main series games. It's either roaming or in a island-cave. I think it's funny the games were the ones to miss the lore. Even in the original mystery dungeons, both Zapdos and Moltres live on mountains, but Articuno lives at the heart of a forest... it's just odd.
