Yes. I thought it was clear from what I wrote how movie 5's Latias appears in the episode, "Ash and Latios", which was the second to last episode of the Ash era.

The Latias wasn't movie Latias, as she was shown in Bianca form while they fan service showed Alto Mare, after the Latias & Latios, he helped, left Satoshi/Ash in the final arc. Unless you meant that they showed her transformed into Bianca, inside the secret garden

Maybe it's just me, but I didn't see what Oak said as shooting down Gary's method/being contradictory, but rather that there are multiple methods to go about taking care of Pokémon and like with people, each is unique. Not just in general, but also down to the individual interactions. Also that not every method will work with every Pokémon every time due to how like people, each Pokémon is unique. Also, Suede's mistake about claiming this is the last case is especially funny now since we're right next to the Lugia arc which acknowledges Pokémon 2000's events, but also how one of the last eps of Journeys has Latias from Pokémon Heroes appear.
