The new Update release date.

So the past few months have been rather hectic for me, to the point of overwhelming, but like all aspiring authors do, we power through, and I can proudly say I have finished writing for the next update.
It's going to cover the entire skink path, adding around 30k words+, and this update will also try to fix every typo, grammatical issue, and bug along the way.
There are two vital things I need to take care of after this update.
1. An overhaul for the prologue: add the southward section at the beginning of the cave, add a fight scene when you first encounter the crawler, and expand your fight with Garth, not to mention a healthy sprinkle of narrative improvement all around.
2. I will then dedicate my full attention to the spider path; for i really want it to feel like a unique experience separate from our lizard gang, and i believe i can achieve that with your support and always fantastic feedback.
For now the Skink update will drop on the 23'rd with full certainty, and I can't wait for you guys to try it out; I had a lot of fun writing its fight scenes.

It already released on the 23rd for the diamond horn role, and would release tomorrow for the golden claws. The post will open up on the 29th for the silver fangs, so its just around the corner.

I was just wondering when the next update comes out? I see it says the 23rd but i don’t see it. Merry Christmas though. (:

Its a suicidal option, for those foolish enough to think they can fist fight a gorilla or wrestle with a bear, its the same here, for how far would you go fighting The crawler in your weakest form, knowing death is but a certainty.

How hard is it going to be to fight and kill the Crawler as soon as we encounter it without the trap? That thing is monstrous and it's just a Juvenile. If I was going to put a guess, our chances of possibly killing it before evolving is 4%. Before evolution but with a few traits = 9% and with all traits if you used the cheat mode for biomass = 10-12%. I can't see it going any higher unless you add a way for us to evolve earlier to significantly increase our chances. Greater Salamander definitely boosts our chances to 60-88% while the Skink Path would probably be 40-50%. 50-79% if we have weapons and armors. Only other way I could see it increasing without evolutions would be somehow adding more available traits that you can acquire during the Prologue before you encounter it though it would mostly depends on what type of traits those are and how effective they would be.
