🕑 Added 2025-09-11 15:53:13 +0000 UTC“Fucking Christ Hank! A little warning.”Bella grumbled. Victoria was instantly on alert. She hadn’t had to deal with a random ghost showing up yet but had been warned that when they did they usually wanted something that involved Bella being put in a dangerous situation. The pair of them and Rosalie just finished mailing the last of the envelopes and the box of dog poop making sure they drove around to different drop boxes along the way from Forks to Seattle. Victoria hadn’t minded the trip because it kept everyone else from bothering them. Victoria was concerned about living in Alaska because she didn’t think that she would get any alone time with Bella. Everyone seemed to be clamoring for the human’s attention. While Victoria liked that all those people would protect Bella fiercely it was overwhelming to deal with all of them. Especially at once. She just hoped that Carmen and Eleazar weren’t as intense as she hadn’t seen the couple interact with Bella at all yet.
“Hank’s here?”Rosalie asked from her spot in the driver’s seat. The plan was to mail everything then the trio was going to spend a few hours in Seattle by themselves walking around. It was bright and sunny out but with Bella gift that wasn’t a problem. Victoria’s reaction to seeing it work was funny and Rosalie had the hardest time not laughing at the red head.
“Yes.”Bella confirmed before giving her attention back to Hank.”I bet you laughed your ass of the entire time.”
“It’s kind of frustrating only hearing part of the conversation isn’t it.”Victoria wanted to know what kind of trouble the ghost was putting Bella in.
Rosalie nodded.”It’s extremely frustrating. When we were dealing with Ralph initially all we knew was that Bella was investigating a hitman. We didn’t know Bella could talk to ghosts or about her skills so we were very afraid for her. When she got the hitman’s address I was terrified that she was going to go to his house and confront him by herself. He lived in California so I wouldn’t have been able to follow her because we didn’t know she could block the sun.”
“I’m happy for your kids and like that they know that you are responsible for this. It lets them know that you are still looking out for them.”Bella said.
“I think I would have been terrified as well.”Victoria would have risked exposure to follow Bella.
“I thought you would appreciate that.”Bella told Hank.”You’re welcome and I will do that as soon as I settle. Thanks for you help. I’ll see you later.”
“Is Hank gone?”Rosalie wanted him to be gone.
“Yes he just can to check in on the box and to tell me the results of stealing all his widow’s money.”Bella was happy Hank was satisfied with her work.
“What were the results?”Victoria was curious about Hank’s case after being told all about it by Bella at breakfast.
“His widow contacted the police and because it was so much money their cyber crimes devision looked into it immediately. When they traced the transfer they found it led to a Swiss bank account that belonged to the widow.”Bella explained.
“I don’t get it if it’s her account can’t she just get the money out of it?”Rosalie asked.
“I was the one who set up the account and I am the only one with access. She has no way of legally being able to even see how much money is in the account.”Bella told her.
“Shit you are fucking good aren’t you.”Victoria had met hackers before but never known any as good as Bella.
“I’m very good. So good that now that I have confirmation that the widow and police knows where the money went I am going to close the account. I already transferred the money to Hank’s kids I was just waiting until she figured out where the money was transferred to. That way she has no way to get access to the account if by some wild outrageous bit of luck she actually convinces someone to give her access to the account because it is already closed.”Bella thought it was a good plan.
“You are an evil genius.”Rosalie was beginning to understand that Bella was more skilled with a computer than any of them thought.
“How did you feel about stealing from his widow?”Victoria wanted to check in with Bella emotionally.
“I hate that I left a 60 year old woman destitute but according to Hank she has a string of rich boyfriends that she is trying to get one to marry her. That being the case it’s obvious she is a con woman who took advantage of Hank and screwed over his kids. It makes me feel good that I can fulfill Hank’s dying wish but it still doesn’t completely sit right with me to take all the woman’s money. Even if she has expensive items she could sell to get bye.”Bella wished she could have left some money for the widow but Hank was adamant that Bella take everything.
“I think I would feel bad about leaving an old woman destitute but you mentioned she had things she could sell. That means she isn’t completely broke. So you should focus on that and not the money you took from her.”Rosalie hadn’t thought about the fact that Bella left an old woman without a dime in the bank. She had only thought about how much the woman deserved to have the money taken. Rosalie held back a sigh. She really needed to talk to Bella more about these things and stop assuming because Bella was right Rosalie was naive when it came to the world.
“You’re right it’s just makes me feel like a horrible person for doing it.”Bella said.
Victoria put her hand on Bella’s shoulder.”It’s good you feel that way. It means you are still a good person and the darkness hasn’t claimed you.”
“Now that I have taken care of Ralph, Hank and Anne I predict I’m going to get bothered very soon. A new ghost always shows up right away when I finish a task for one of them.”Bella was surprised one hadn’t showed up yet.
“We will deal with it when it happens and until then we should try and enjoy our day. So where did you want to go first?”Rosalie truly hoped that no ghosts showed up for a while. At least until they were settled in Alaska.
“It’s the first time for both of you to be around humans when it’s sunny. Why don’t we take a walk in the park?”Bella suggested.
“I like that idea.”Victoria had never enjoyed a sunny day at the park before.
“Me to and they have a nice park really close to us.”Rosalie would like strolling in the park on a sunny day with her mate. Rosalie navigated the car into the parking lot and parked. She wanted to hurry and get Bella’s door for her but they were in public so she took her time getting out while Victoria who was sitting behind Bella got their mate’s door instead.
“What’s the weather like in Alaska where the Denali live?”Bella asked holding both her hands out for Rosalie and Victoria who happily took one. The trio began walking side by side into the park.
“It snows a lot. I have actually never visited when there wasn’t snow on the ground.”Rosalie smiled brightly noticing the looks people were giving her knowing that they were looking at her because of Bella holding two women’s hands not because she was sparkling like a disco ball. It didn’t bother Rosalie that they got looks for Bella holding their hands. Rosalie liked that Bella wasn’t ashamed to have two mates.
“I don’t know how I feel about snow. I haven’t ever been around it. I take that back I think I was when I was little but I don’t remember it.”Bella didn’t have an opinion one way or another about snow.
“I like it. There are a lot of fun things to do with it. Building snowmen and snow castles. Snowball fights, sledding, skiing and lots of other things I can’t think of right now.”Victoria loved snow.
“I am willing to do those things with you if you want.”Bella would happily do the activities if it would make Victoria happy.
“We are going to have a lot of fun together.”Victoria couldn’t wait to go sledding with Bella.
“What’s the Denali’s house like?”Bella wanted to know where she was going to live.
“It’s bigger than the Cullen’s home in Forks and has a handful of guest rooms. It will probably feel a little cramped if Alice and Emmet join the coven as well but Irina mentioned they were going to remodel to add rooms for you. I bet they will add more space for everyone else as well.”Rosalie wasn’t looking forward to all of them being packed in the Denali’s home.
“I don’t know how I feel about that.”Victoria liked peace and quiet. Something she had very little of when she was hunting with James and Laurent. Now free of them she was looking forward to having a stress free life with Bella.
“Will you two share a room with me? I really like when both of you hold me when I sleep.”Bella quickly added before they could reply.”Unless you want your own rooms and find it boring laying next to me for hours not doing anything. I won’t force you.”
Rosalie pulled Bella to a stop and gave her a kiss.”I was trying to figure out a way to convince you to share a room with me and to get you to let me hold you while you slept. So I am extremely excited to share a room with you.”
“I am equally as excited. Nothing would make me happier than sharing a room with you and being able to hold you every night while you sleep.”Victoria like Rosalie had been trying to figure out how to convince Bella of both those things. She was happy that the issue was dealt with.
“Do you thinks my mother’s are going to fight against it?”Bella asked.
Rosalie winced.”That actually might be a problem.”
“Bella is our mate. Our bond overrules all others she has. Meaning they aren’t in charge of us.”Victoria wasn’t going to let anyone but herself, Rosalie and Bella make decisions concerning their relationship.
“I think the issue is that Bella is underage and human. Based on what they have said to me is they don’t think she is mature enough to have a physical relationship yet and they worry about us accidentally hurting her if we lose control of ourselves.”Rosalie understood their concerns but didn’t agree with them.
“They really are sheltered if they think a seventeen year old is to young to have sex. In my last school people were made fun of for being virgins when they were freshmans. I can’t even count how many students got caught having sex during school hours over the years. That being said Irina and Tanya may have a bond with me but at the end of the day they aren’t in charge of me. No matter how much they wish they were. Meaning I’m going to tell them we are sharing a room not ask them if we can.”Bella was going to stick up for her relationship.
Victoria leaned over and kissed Bella’s cheek. She would prefer to give Bella a proper kiss but they weren’t there yet.”I thank you for treating our relationship as a priority.”
“I might not feel the bond fully but I do feel something. It’s enough for me to know that what we have is special and important. Something that no one but the three of us should have a say in.”Bella told her.
“That’s the way it should be.”Rosalie predicted fights in the future but took comfort in knowing that the three of them would put their relationship first.
“Until the remodel we need to figure out a plan for us to get some privacy because even not knowing them well I can tell that everyone in the group will be fighting for Bella’s attention. I don’t know how Carmen and Eleazar will act but based on our shopping trip Bella is going to constantly be sought after by the others.”Victoria wanted to have a plan so they could get away from everyone if they needed a break.
“Carmen is a history buff so she will probably want to talk to ghosts from different time periods. Eleazar is already obsessed with Bella’s gifts so he will be just as involved. When we came back from our trip he spent the whole night asking us all kinds of questions about Bella’s abilities. As to how to get some privacy I’m not sure because I don’t know the area other than the house and the thousand acres of forest that surround it. The closest town is hours away by car and we usually just run there.”Rosalie was rethinking living in Alaska now that the lack of private time she would get with her mate was pointed out.
“Are we set on joining the Denali? I don’t mean to sound rude or assume anything but based on what I know the pair of you have more than enough money to support us for a very long time. Is there a rule we have to join a coven or can we go off on our own?”Bella didn’t know much about how the vampire world worked.
“We don’t have to but if we didn’t a lot of people would be angry and upset with us. I think they wouldn’t hesitate to track us down and then never leave us alone for fear we would run off by ourselves again.”Rosalie liked the idea it just wasn’t realistic.
“I can imagine them doing that.”Victoria didn’t think the group would even wait a day before they came after them.
“I don’t care if they don’t like it we will be going on vacations alone. If they crash our trips I’ll refuse to take them anywhere sunny.”Bella thought that was a good threat.
“That will make them think twice.”Rosalie knew no one would want to miss out on traveling to sunny places.
“Speaking of sunny places. Now that we are completely alone with no chance of anyone overhearing us I want to tell you about Jasper.”Bella said.
“What about Jasper?”From what Victoria knew the man hadn’t even contacted Edward.
“Before Edward’s mother left she asked me to contact Jasper when I settled in Alaska and break his mate bond with Edward after I gave him the shield.”Bella told them.
“How are you able to break a bond?”Rosalie only heard of it being possible when she was told about Heidi.
Bella shrugged.”Hank is going to teach me how to use my shield to do it once I get some time alone. The ghosts are all adamant that no one learn I can do it but it didn’t feel right not telling you two.”
“I’m shocked you can do it but happy you trusted us to tell us about it.”Victoria liked that Bella told them about it.
“Maybe it’s bond or maybe it’s because I just don’t believe in keeping secrets in romantic relationships but I’m going to tell you everything I can as soon as I can. Some things I can’t talk about in front of other people so I might have to wait until it’s safe to talk to tell you. Just know I won’t keep things from either of you unless for some reason I can’t talk about it.”Bella would never lie or keep things from her mate.
“I appreciate that more than you know and in return know that I will promise the same.”Rosalie liked that Bella wasn’t going to shut Rosalie out the human’s life on purpose. Rosalie understood there would be times Bella couldn’t talk about things but liked that Bella was going to do what she could to keep Rosalie and Victoria informed.
“I to will be completely honest and not keep things from you.”Victoria felt relieved that Bella wasn’t a liar. She had spent centuries with two of the them she didn’t want her mate to be the same.
“Do you think Jasper is going to take you up on the offer?”Rosalie asked.
“I think so. I sent him a message when I deposited Carlisle’s money into his account explaining to him where it came from and asking him not to tell anyone but Peter and Charlotte about it. He replied thanking me and promising he wouldn’t say a word to anyone. You said Carlisle was going crazy about finding out where the money went so Jasper didn’t tell Carlisle or Edward about it. That leads me to believe that Jasper isn’t planning on going back to Edward anytime soon because if he did Edward would get the information from his mind.”Bella shrugged.”It just seems to me like Jasper isn’t planning on seeing Edward for a long while. I think because of that he will jump at the chance to have the bond broken.”
“When you put it like that it does seem like Jasper isn’t planning on reuniting with Edward anytime soon and wouldn’t hesitate to break the bond.”Victoria would do it if she was Jasper.
“Jasper isn’t a horrible person. His only real flaws are that he defends Edward no matter what and encourages Edward to speak his mind. Those are byproducts of the mate bond. Other than that he doesn’t abuse any of us or treat us badly. Mostly our complaints have to do with his behavior in regards to Edward. I think it’s a great thing that he can get away from him and rejoin his friends. Friends that Edward doesn’t let him see often.”Rosalie thought Jasper deserved a chance to break the bond.
“Hank committed on Peter and Charlotte being good friends to have in the future. I know nothing about them so I don’t know if that is true or not.”Bella said.
“For what we are planning to do they would great friends to have. Peter and his mate Charlotte were turned by a vampire warlord to be used as soldiers fighting in her army during a huge conflict that even the Volturi had trouble ending and cleaning up the aftermath. Jasper was in charge of them. They three are incredible fighters though Victoria is better from what Kate said. Anyway Peter also has a gift. He has the ability to always know how to get out of trouble. It’s like he has unlimited luck. He can’t really explain what he knows or how he knows it but every time he has been in a conflict he has walked away from it just fine. Even if he is not in a conflict and wants things to go his way they do. His gift is how he and Charlotte survived longer than all the other newborns during the war. It was also how the mated pair were able to escape before the Volturi showed up. With his gift and Jasper’s gift to control emotions and all three of their fighting abilities they would give us a huge advantage when we go off on our mission.”Rosalie would love to have the trio with them when they went to save the queen and overthrow the kings.
“Then we will do what we can to make friends with them. All three of us. Bella breaking the bond for Jasper and giving all three of them the shield will be a good step to creating an alliance.”Victoria like Rosalie wanted the trio on their side to help save her sister.
“I think I will probably be able to ask for a couple ghost to come talk to them. That seems to make people like me when I have conversations for them with dead people.”Bella didn’t like talking to ghosts but she would do it to make friends with the three vampires.
“It makes people feel indebted to you when you speak to the ghost of people important to them. All of us felt that way when you helped us talk to our loved ones. So did Carmen and Eleazar who both asked us what they could do to thank you for the gift you gave them.”Rosalie had felt the same way when she talked to Vera and her best friend told her how to achieve her dream of having children.
“That is a good idea then.”Victoria didn’t feel like that but she had other things going on when she learned Bella talked to her sister’s ghost.
“The ghost we talked to at the fair mentioned that the Irish coven were going to be needed to save you. Have you gotten more information about that threat or do think they were talking about what we are planning?”Rosalie asked.
“I’m sure it’s about what we are planning. Anne really wasn’t supposed to tell me anything about Didyme or that I was the key to saving her. From what I could tell because she told me it pushed up the time line to Hank visiting me to help me with the shields. Knowing that I don’t think we are going to be doing anything for a couple years. That way we have time to train and find allies. I do believe that we aren’t supposed to talk to anyone but the three of us about it. If we did I’m positive that it would get back to Aro.”Bella told them.
“I could see how easy it would be for someone to let the information slip. The idea that the queen is alive is too shocking to keep to yourself. I do worry about the others knowing though.”Victoria wasn’t sure they would be able to keep the secret.
“Luckily they don’t interact with other vampires that much. The Denali like to keep to the themselves. I have actually never heard of them mentioning getting visitors other than the Cullens to their home in Alaska. Alice and Emmet don’t know anyone but the Denali and the Cullens. None of us have even met Peter and Charlotte in person.”Rosalie wasn’t worried about the others saying anything. They had no-one to tell.
“Do you have any friends Vic?”Bella hadn’t heard Anne mention any.
“No because James saw everyone as threat but me and Laurent. My gift kept us away from other vampires most of the time and the ones we did come across James always picked a fight with. A fight he of course couldn’t win because he and Laurent were shit fighters. It was always me who saved us.”Victoria growled thinking of the men.”I hate that I didn’t torture them before I killed them.”
“No you don’t because that would be something they would do and you aren’t like them nor do you want to turn into them. You gave them a perfect death. Killing them with no warning with their last thought being shock that you betrayed them. If you had dragged it out they would have taunted you about your actions while you were with them and done a lot more emotional damage to you now that you are no longer under Laurent’s control.”Bella thought Victoria killed the men the best way for her healing.
Victoria thought about it for a minute.”You’re right. I don’t want to be like them. You’re also right about them taunting me. I don’t think I could have handled that at all.”
“Well they are dead now, you have found your real mate and have been reunited with your sister. I think things are looking good for your future.”Rosalie was going to think about how her actions against her attackers effected her and talk to Bella about it later. She didn’t want to bring down the mood of the day.
“So back to the topic at hand. How does one make vampire friends?”Bella didn’t know if there was some kind of vampire network.
“The only thing you can really do to make friends with vampires is to visit their territory and talk to them. That or just randomly running into a nomad. There really isn’t a full proof way of finding a coven unless they are well known.”Victoria told her.
“Carlisle has some allies we can contact. The Irish coven which we were already planning to reach out to, the Egyptian coven who would jump at the chance to get Bella to give them the shields because their leader Amun is very paranoid. The story I heard was that his coven was one of the ones Aro visited to take their gifted member. For some reason Aro left Amun and his mate alive but they took a vampire name Dimitri from them. Dimitri is a very talented tracker and a member of the royal guard. After that happened Amun sired Benjamin who turned out to have a gift as well. He controls the earth. Meaning he can manipulate the ground, water and air anyway he wanted. Benjamin having such a powerful gift has Amun living in fear that Aro will find out and take him as well. I think if we offer the shields and a chance of overthrowing the kings he and his coven will join us.”Rosalie bet they would jump at the chance.
“A vampire with that kind of gift would be very useful. The problem I have is will they align with us if they are already aligned with Carlisle? I have no doubt that Carlisle is going to inform his allies of the changes to his coven. Are they completely loyal to him?”Victoria didn’t want to fight someone with Benjamin’s gift if she didn’t have to.
“He has probably already contacted his allies trying to find a hacker that can help him. After Rosalie and the other two leave the coven he will make some attempts to convince me and Victoria to join him. When that fails he will contact his allies again telling them all about how the Denali stole his valuable coven members and how he needs help getting us back.”Bella easily see Carlisle reacting that way.
“Maybe that means we should visit his allies before he can contact them.”Rosalie agreed with Bella about what Carlisle would do.
“Or we can use that as a way to get proper introductions. If Carlisle calls them for help and they actually show up then we will get a chance to speak to them because they won’t make a move until they had our side of the story. Friends or not no coven is going to to jump into a fight against a group as large as ours is if they don’t have to. They wouldn’t want to take a chance of one of them getting seriously hurt or killed. So they would talk to us and Tanya being coven leader will explain the situation. After everything is cleared up we can talk to them and offer Bella’s help with the shield and talking to ghosts.”Victoria thought it was a good plan.
“Who else are allied to Carlisle?”Bella asked Rosalie.
“The Romanians which we don’t want anywhere near us and the Amazon coven. They consist of three mated women who are a lot older than the kings and live in the Amazon jungle. They feed off of drug runners and poachers. They also never leave the jungle for anything. If Carlisle wanted their help he would have to go to them because they have no communication devises. I have never met them or the others because Carlisle keeps us isolated but we have been told about them from Carlisle and the Denali.”Rosalie told her.
“Can I say again how much I hate Carlisle. This is an issue we shouldn’t have to deal with for a couple years but because Carlisle is a manipulate, despicable, degenerate who thinks he’s a god who deserves to be worshiped we are almost guaranteed to be confronted by a group of hostile vampires when we have done nothing wrong. I just can’t even..”Bella growled.”That man. He needs to die.”
Victoria dropped Bella’s hand and wrapped her arm around the human pulling her close.”We will kill him I promise. We just need to save my sister first. Then after that we will kill him before we do anything else.”
“I feel stupid for never seeing him for what he really is. After you talked to his father it was like a blindfolded had been taken off me and I saw him as a totally different person. He really is nothing but a narcissistic asshole. He fucking picked trauma victims to change so he could create his ideal family. How fucked up is that?”Rosalie hated that she had been fooled for so long.
“I didn’t trust him at all from the moment I laid eyes on him. His smile, mannerisms and overall persona was completely fake. His eyes had the glint of malicious intent in them as he was obviously trying to decide my value to him. Then again I have dealt like people like Carlisle before. You Rosalie had only been exposed to Carlisle’s influence and no other vampires since you woke up. It’s no wonder you didn’t catch on. Carlisle went out of his way to make sure you didn’t.”Bella didn’t blame Rosalie for be fooled for so long.
“True even the Denali don’t associate with other vampires so I didn’t have anything that would make question things.”Rosalie didn’t regret not leaving because it led her to Bella.
“So we have a plan. We deal with the other covens that come to Alaska to confront us. The ones that don’t we will travel just the three of us to meet up with. We talk to no one but the three of us about our plans. Not even the people we are making friends with. We use the excuse of being sheltered as the reason we are seeking out other vampires. Bella when is it going to be safe for you to change?”Victoria would prefer meeting the vampires while Bella was a vampire as well.
“From what I got from Anne I don’t think I’m going to be changed until all this over. Hank wouldn’t give me an answer when I asked. He just kept saying I will be changed when I’m ready. I already know that Anne wouldn’t tell me if I asked her because she wasn’t supposed to tell me anything but what had to do with saving you. I am not happy about having to wait that long but it’s for my safety.”Bella didn’t want to ruin her mind just to be a vampire.
“That’s not ideal because we will have to protect a human during a battle with a lot of vampires. Which means I need to start training right away.”Rosalie wasn’t happy that Bella would be human when they went on their mission but it did up the chances of Rosalie being able to convince Bella to have children when everything was over.
“When are you meeting your mothers to visit your father?”Victoria wanted to get to Alaska so they could settle and start preparing for what was to come.
Bella looked at her watch and sighed.”We should probably head back now.”
“It was a nice walk. Especially because it was just the three of us and not the rest of the group.”Rosalie doubted they would get the chance to take a walk outside like this without someone or many someones joining them.
Victoria picked up on what Rosalie was thinking.”We will make time for just the three of us no matter what.”
“I predict I will be threatening a lot of people in the future to make that happen.”Bella said.
“Probably.”Rosalie agreed. Turning the three of them around Rosalie walked back to the car. She was upset that her time at the park with Bella was over. At least they had a chance to be alone so they could talk about important topics. Rosalie wasn’t looking forward to trying to find time to to be alone when they moved to Alaska. Bella was going to be pestered by everyone trying to spend time with her. Rosalie just hoped that Tanya and Irina didn’t put up to much of a fuss about Rosalie and Victoria sharing a room with Bella and holding her while she slept. Rosalie understood their concerns but Bella was their mate and the human wasn’t some naive country bumpkin. Bella had more life experience than anyone in their group besides Victoria. Not that it mattered. Bella said she would fight for them and Rosalie believed her. Bella was right about the human having to threaten people. It was probably going to be the only way Bella wasn’t completely overwhelmed. Rosalie of course would do what she could to help but Bella was going to have to be the main voice for the trio. A role that Rosalie had faith Bella would thrive in.

So I totally forgot to comment about this chapter the first time I read it, so… first, great job on this story. Keep up the great work. Glad to see the growth in their relationship. Glad Bella will stand up for them. It’s a good thing that she has 2 mates since so much rides on what she has to do with the upcoming situations. Too much stress for one teen young woman, having to help educate her coven mates, parents included.
