Episode Two - Dev Update #5

We’ve got some great news. After countless hours of work, the racing scene is finally done. This is easily the most ambitious scene we’ve worked on so far, and it gives you a better glimpse of the atmosphere we aim to create for the game. It clocks in at around 3+ minutes of fully animated racing action with some dialogue in between, additionally, there's gonna be timed choices for you to choose that determine the outcome of the race. But if that feels like too much pressure, you can disable the timer for the choices in the settings.
With this part finally wrapped up, we’re looking forward to picking up the pace again and getting back to the regular scenes. On my end, I’ve started working on all the sound effects and whatnot for the racing sequence, along with a new track to fully tie it together.
I know some of you have been asking why the update is taking so long, so I want to mention again that, unfortunately, we can’t commit to this project full-time just yet. We’re putting in as much time as we can, but we also have to balance it with life responsibilities to sustain ourselves. Everything we earn from Patreon goes right back into the game, so we really appreciate your patience as we work on delivering something we can all enjoy.

Can't wait! Spreading the word through reddit, itch.io and cross-promos with other devs might be worth considering before you're ready for a steam release.

For games in this niche, it can be tough to get the word out, especially early on. Our end goal is definitely to release on Steam, but since we're still early in the story, we want to make sure there's enough content before we get there. For now, we'll most likely just advertise this episode on the usual websites, but I’m sure you’ll love what’s coming in the next updates!

I'm really looking forward to the next update! What are your plans on advertising after it releases? I feel like abgame of this quality and potential should be much more popular than it is right now, and it might be just people not knowing about it. I found it randomly through a comment on r/AVN_Lovers.
