Dark Yard Game
🕑 Added 2022-09-21 13:41:28 +0000 UTCIn 2016 i began a project called The Dark Yard. It was a short 'choose your own adventure' style game created using the Tyranobuilder visual novel maker software and explored alot of vore themes.
Occasionally i've experimented in games. Most of the time these are just short experiements that are never completed. Making games are usually just to time consuming so im always looking for quick ways to do things. Tyranobuilder allowed for quick creation of pages with animated visuals and choices of what page to go to next.
I rememebr i used a sprite animation package called Spriter. I'd create the charaters in Procreate with seperated limbs, then in spriter create animated gifs which i brought into Tyranobuilder.
Dark Yard is a simple story about a boy called Ellis who moves to a new home with a mysterious gate at the bottom of the yard. Entering the gate Ellis and his younger brother find themselves in a dark realm. Ellis's brother is then kidnapped setting up the adventure to save him.
You guide Ellis through many obstacles, most of them wish to eat him. I expect most guide him to his consumption first before choosing the right path.
It was an interesting project. I recently went back to fixed a few things while adding a level select once completed, and i offer it here to download on PC and Mac for anyone interested. You never know, maybe i will make a nother one.
