I'm struggling
🕑 Added 2023-05-24 02:47:28 +0000 UTCHey guys, I just wanted to say sorry for not being able to put out a new chapter of SSIAW yet, I'm afraid that I hit a wall. I'm currently trying to break through it by writing other things, but whenever I get back to SSIAW I'm progressing at a snails pace.
It's definitely going better now after the short break I had, but it is STILL a slog for me right now. I hope I didn't burn myself out when finishing the first book. Do you guys have any suggestions? I wanna at least get you guys one before the month ends, it's what you're donating to me for after all and I don't wanna let you down

It’s no bother waiting for more chapters. I’d love to see what else you’ve been writing if there’s anything completed that is. Regardless I wish you good luck on getting past the writers block.

As someone who is trying to be a writer myself and writing when I have free time, I get it. As for actual advice... can't really give any helpful advice without specifics but I will try. Maybe think about why its a slog to write? If the issue is not with the main characters but the current plotline starting in book 2, think about scrapping it and starting over. If the issue is the characters... unfortunately what came before (book 1) restricts what comes coming after so options are limited. Could try different POVs? Or maybe do some world building to get you excited. Works for me. Also results in me rewriting any chapters I have written if the changes are big enough so...grain of salt
