Let's dig into it:
In addition to this Patreon endeavor, I also have a full-time job (plus a wife and two cats) that takes up precious time, but I try invest some time into mapmaking where possible.
For now, maps will be released without a fixed schedule. Some months might see multiple map releases, other times there'll be one map in a 2 month period (especially for more elaborate maps), sometimes even less. Don't worry if you're a Patron, you'll only ever pay when a map is actually released (as opposed to a fixed monthly payment).
Some of the older maps might be available in JPEG format, but new maps will be posted in WEBP format at 150 PPI (pixels per inch).
Most online tabletop simulators (Foundry VTT, Roll20, ...) support the WEBP format for maps, plus it makes the files less heavy and easier to handle. Should you still want to convert your map to a JPEG file for any reason, simply open it up in Paint and save it again as a JPEG.
I use a variety of different asset packs to make my maps, the exact assets used will always be mentioned in the map posts. 
Good question! As it stands, I have not yet tried to print any of my maps for real-life tabletop use. But I'm very curious to learn more about the process. Have you tried to print one of my maps for use? Do you have feedback, pointers on what to keep in mind or anything else? Feel free to get in touch! 
If things go well, sometime in the future a new Patron tier will be created for some more hands-on collaboration, so that I can make tailor made maps. This will impact the workload significantly, so the amount of custom maps that can be made per month will most likely be kept to a relatively low number.
Maps available to everyone are found in the "Freebies" collection. Maps available to paid Patrons will be collected in "The Vault" collection. 
Sad to see you go! But no hard feelings either way. You will lose access to all maps on the page and will not be able to download any of the new creations anymore. Freebies remain accessible to anyone, including you, of course.
If you're planning on using one (or more) of the maps for commercial purposes, please get in touch with me before you do. Once I know more about the proposed purpose, I can give a green light.

Having been lucky enough to be a player in one of Dan's games, attention to detail is the perfect way to describe his work behind the screen. He universally goes the extra mile to make locations feel real and lived in, with elements of visual storytelling, as well as adding mechanically useful terrain and objects for combat and exploration. These values are reflected beautifully in the maps he continues to put out to this day.
