Chapter 56: How do you respond to taxation?

"But wait, you said you would first start doing that when you have a 50 plus chapters backlog on Patreon?" This is true. But I am changing my plan because I felt more excited to write back when I had people coming in from RR and a lot of people were writing comments. Now it feels more boring.
Also another update: When I start running the ads and uploading daily on RR, if I do not make more than 2000 USD per month here on this Patreon within I guess 2 months, I'll stop writing. I'm really busy focusing on my porn career right now. And making porn is more fun than writing stories.

“The fuck do you want?” Lucas said.
“What favor? the fuck happened?” Brian said.
“Ehm… so. Like, these Mexicans are telling me I have to start paying like money as an entrance fee? Am I supposed to do that? Can you help me out?” Johnny said.
“Fuck no you are not supposed to pay shit! Where are these fucks?” Brian said.
“Let’s go kill somebody,” Lucas said.
“Hold your horses. Not kill. This is a punk test. Just, show up, do some shit. I dunno. We don’t always have to start shooting,” Brian said.
“Okay, gay boy, show us where these burritos are,” Lucas said.
On the way to the plaza, they had Johnny do all the grinding and one of the Balloon Monsters dropped a crystal.
Johnny picked it up and stared at it.
Lucas grabbed it from his hand and pushed him to the ground.
“Don’t even fucking think about it, gay boy,” Lucas said. “Yo, is it my turn or yours?” Lucas said.
“No idea. You just pop this one and I do the next,” Brian said.
Lucas crushed the yellow crystal and yellow energy flowed into his arm.

“Tell me one now!” Brian said.
“Why do you have to watch out for ninjas’ farts? Because they are silent and deadly,” Lucas said.
Johnny snickered.
“Don’t fucking think you are a part of this group, faggot. When the fuck is Jack coming back?” Lucas said.
“I dunno. He keeps getting yeeted by the system,” Brian said, while Johnny whispered sorry and lowered his head.
“So how many burritos was it that talked to you?” Brian said.
“Ehm… it was two. And they said that I have to start paying soon but didn’t tell me when. They were waiting at the gate of the balloon zone,” Johnny said.
“Did they threaten you or punch you or something?” Brian said.
“N-No violence. Just told me,” Johnny said.
“And then what did you say?” Brian said.
“I didn’t say anything. I just walked away quickly and avoided eye contact,” Johnny said.
“I say we kill them. We can’t get punked like this. These shits should know to not fuck with us,” Lucas said.
“Maybe they just don’t know Johnny is ours. If we just explain the situation, they might back off,” Brian said.
“Or they might use him to lure us into a trap? Why take the risk? let’s just start shooting,” Lucas said.
“Maybe… but first let me try to talk. But be ready. Johnny, you just point at them and then run return home. You’re not wearing any gear. Got it?” Brian said.
“Yes,” Johnny said.
“Thank you for telling us about this, by the way. As long as you are ours, we promise your protection. Shit like this isn’t allowed,” Brian said.
Johnny smiled and nodded. He felt like Brian actually cared about him. Brian absolutely did not care about Johnny and just saw him as a cash cow.
They made it to the gate leading into the plaza.
Nobody was waiting on the other side of the gate. They slowly went in, with Johnny walking behind the two. Lucas and Brian had their rifles out.
There were people gathered here and there and a few stalls.
“You see them?” Brian said.
“N-No. I’m not sure. I’m sorry,” Johnny said.
“It’s fine. Okay, you exit the game now,” Brian said.
Johnny nodded and disappeared out of thin air.
“What’s the plan, YMCA?” Lucas said.
“Fuck off. Let’s try to find Eugene. Or ask around for the hispanics,” Brian said.
They walked into the plaza and people walked away and tried to avoid them. Everyone started packing their things.
“Fuck this. Let’s head over to Eugene. Ask him about this,” Brian said.
When they arrived at the entrance of Eugene’s camp, they were told they couldn’t come in by the guards dressed in football uniforms.
“Why? Where’s Eugene, we have important shit to talk to him about,” Lucas said.
“You three are not welcome here! Leave!” the guard holding a spear said. Lucas noticed he had a pistol strapped to his side.
“Look, we don’t want trouble. It’s just that the hispanics are up to some shit and we have to talk to Eugene about it. You’re gonna have to tell him we are here,” Brian said.
The guard sighed and asked another guard to bring Eugene.
After only one minute, Eugene showed up.
“What do you want?” he said, while holding a pistol.
“First off, strap your fucking gun,” Lucas said.
“Yeah sure, just take off all your armor first,” Eugene said.
“Look, we are not here to burn any more corpses,” Brian said.
The nearby guards looked confused. They didn’t understand what that was supposed to mean because Eugene hadn’t told his group how he had killed Fernando in front of his family in his house.
“What do you want?” Eugene said.
“We have a… new member of our team. The hispanics were by our gate. Trying to tax him. That won’t work out. Any peaceful suggestions?” Brian said.
Eugene sighed.
“Okay, let’s–”
