with regards to the prior writing, there has been a slow trickle of encouragement and positive comments about it which has meant the world to me. thank you so much <3
with regards to the new project, i've been trying to make sure i'm writing from a place of genuine passion as opposed to obligation. so lately i've been doing a bit more programming than writing to try and get the game part of the game functional enough for me to enjoy it that way.
as i said in a previous post it would be, december has been slow for me. we had a number of house projects we needed to finish up in order to get this place into a livable state and find something approaching financial stability again. i think it is finally within our grasp, in large part to all of you and your patience in bearing with me here. thank you!!!
we'll have a new roommate coming in to live with us in january-- someone we don't really know so fingers crossed she will be good... and then it will be a matter of figuring out that whole work-life balance thing that always eludes me. maybe i can finally think about streaming again... set-up with a third person could be awkward. we'll see.
i have a couple more protags to post, don't i? it's not forgotten-- but we've still been reviewing and touching those up. for instance, every protag i posted so far actually had to be changed a little more because they were all a pixel too short compared to other characters-- oops. so they all got a lil taller.
oh, but isn't there anything i can post?
hmmm... let me just dig through my pockets and see what's in here... lint... a quarter... my phone... i don't actually have pockets... old project ideas... please make girls clothes with pockets thank you... ah! here we go!
there's a little more work to do here before it's ready to go, but orsan posted the old big top map and i looked at it and got really mad so i whacked it over the head with one of those mallets.
if i haven't said so already-- the focus of 19.5 was QoL, right? likewise, 19.6 has a focus as well: it will be primarily cosmetic updates. i don't have an agenda for other areas i want to slamjam like the above, but nobody knows what could happen.
but above all, here's to a happy 2025 to everyone of you beautiful people still here with me. despite everything, let's make it good.

Oof Happy New Year and as always wishing you all the best and hope this year will be a great year. As always I'm sure many understand that you have a lot going on and believe it’s right that you go about things at your own pace and want to do it than out of obligation and feel forced. Wishing you the best with the project and new roommate. I think I said this in an older post but I know I'm not as active with Pateron but when I get time cause of work and life I do enjoy checking out the posts and reading them when I can. I truly hope this year will treat you all well. I know a lot has happened to you but again I wish you all the best and hope many good things come from 2025 thanks for all that you've done and take care.
