Dev-Log Ep6b #8
🕑 Added 2024-09-18 19:17:26 +0000 UTCSince I didn’t provide a preview (to avoid too many spoilers), I replaced it with custom renders like this. I worked on these custom renders quickly, around 1-2 hours, it's not like wallpapers that take a full day. So, I'm sorry—don't expect me to do this with different camera angles or poses like I do with wallpapers/special renders, 😀.
The total progress so far is:
4 animations
475 static renders
When I tried becoming an aVN developer like this, I felt like this kind of work would never make me bored—well, especially because I really enjoy this world, you know... a world that involves 'sexy girls', lol.
But well... I am only human. Five days ago (after I gave the last devlog update) I was really motivated to finish everything, but after two days of work I felt what people (other devs) often mention - burnout. Yeah, I get a little burnt out sometimes. It just happens. I mean, no matter what, I think most devs feel it at some point. So I did what I call self-care, like ordering good food, a little alcohol, watching movies, going out at night, walking, talking to strangers in a coffee shop.
What I'm trying to say is that I'm still doing the rendering work every day... but when the burnout comes, I need to take a little step back to chill out, and then I'll be in the mood to work again. So I'm sorry if I can't always put out results faster, because, well, like I said... I'm only human. But still, I will do my best.
So, that’s what I can share with you all. Sorry if I’m babbling about this…
And of course, thank you so much for your amazing support. :)
Warm regards,

Creating an AVN is a marathon, not a sprint. There will some hills and valleys as part of the run, and I certainly understand the need to sow down when you hit one of those hills. Thanks for the update and honesty about the need for self-care!

yeah, I mean, doing some creativity in AVNs, it's not that gettin' bored, but more like needing a break sometimes, thanks :)

no problem, make sure you take much needed breaks. Thank you :)
