More traffic? I think the buildings is traffic enough - stationary and i still manage to crash in almost everyone of them - my pilot license was in a fortune cookie - maybe thats why. I think i originally used wrong method of extracting the zip file into the root folder hence it was not detected. Works now very well

Ha, your welcome Mr. T! I pity the fool who can't see the HUD! Look up Mr. T if you are not old enough to get the reference. Its odd that installing the flight mod with Vortex would cause crashes. Ah well, now you can enjoy lonely flights across the mostly empty skies of Night City :) Maybe Cyberpunk 2 will have proper flying traffic.

Tomo

The HUDfix mod is great- - thanks again Mr. B ! ;)

Tomo

Let there be flight , now i have i think 5 or 6 in total

Brandon(Post Maester)

What mod were you installing?

Tomo

thanks - I installed manually works now.

I haven't seen anyone else having this problem here or on discord yet. I have read a bit on reddit about people having gpu spikes that cause crashes after 1.6 update. You could try turning down some demanding settings Like RT just to see if that helps any.

I am in the part of game where I have the bike. The second I press to get on the bike - game crashes. How to fix that? I downloaded the mod with Vortex as only then its displayed under MODS in the Menu. I saw online that there is a v0.1.9 version which fixes the bike crash from update 1.61 but was not able to get it to work. I downloaded the 0.1.9 version from Github and replaced all files in the relevant Cyberpunk Folders in the version I downloaded via Vortex. Yet this also did not help. Game crashes on Bike. anyone same issue? and how to fix it?

With OBS, using the built-in virtual source provided by the mod. See my guide at patreon.com/posts/60054014 (scroll down to "Additional notes for YouTubers and streamers")

How did you record?

Also.......how can I remove the shimmer around every person and object?

Hey Richard. One idea you might try (suggested by none other than Grant from Team Beef!) is reducing the crowd density. In some areas that might give you ~20 fps gain, while at the same time reducing the VRAM pressure that might be the cause of your frame time spikes.

Is CPU a bottlekneck with Cyberpunk VR? I'm running a i7-8700K and am gonna overclock it to 4.3Ghz, as I seem to get some weird frame drops which almost seem like CPU spikes. I am running a RTX 3060Ti, could even be that. Trying to find a sweet spot between performance and resolution. etc

I'm getting an odd problem in that by default the game seems to be locked to 60fps, which is not a smooth experience. If I change the Pixels per Degree down to exactly 13.0 and adapt the resolution suddenly the game doubles in FPS to 120 and is very smooth. But there doesn't seem to be anything inbetween. Never does the game have 90fps for instance. It almost feels like there is some sort of fps capping happening that only kicks in at a certain setting. Do we know the answer to this? I can replicate this even with ray tracing turned on, and everything set to high. For some reason 13.0 is that magic cutoff. However at 12.0 things look a little blurry. Anyone else have this and how they got around it? Oculus Quest 2 via Airlink (120hz) 3080ti 5900X Fresh install from GOG Update: Oddly if the window doesn't have focus it doesn't happen and I get a variable rate, so something is definitely capping it Update 2: I think I have solved the issue by creating a Nvidia Control Panel profile and setting Preferred Refresh Rate to "Application-Controlled" and Vertical Sync to "Off"
