He is very quickly becoming a role model for me in terms of my relationship with women. Feels weird even typing that out, considering we’ve heard bars about him wanting to shoot and strangle his ex wife lmao. But I’m not talking about that. His acknowledgment of his own psyche is striking, and he twins that with a view towards a better version of himself. He knows his relationship with women hasn’t been great, but in this song he hopes to change that through his daughter. Fast forward to today and he actually did that shit! He and his daughter have a beautiful relationship. One that I hope to have with my daughter all her life. THAT is why he’s becoming a role model for me. Despite everything he’s been through with his mum and never really having any stability in terms of family. He broke the cycle and he created his own stability, his own family. He deserves all the flowers for that alone 🤝

I mean that still doesn’t rhyme lol, the first part, the “ly” and “keep” rhyme, sure. But honest and bottle simply do not rhyme. The first syllables of both words rhyme (“hon”, “bot”), but the ending syllables (“nest”, “ttled”) do not rhyme. He makes it more palatable, but I can’t condone that 😂

around the 10min mark you debate with yourself if "bottled" and "honest" rhymes but it's actually a 3-syllable rhyme. eminem does it a lot where the last syllable of a word is the first syllable of a rhyme. in this case "percectLY HONEST - shit i KEEP BOTTLED. that way it rhymes more because of the different emphasis.

I was so excited for this reaction that I tried to listen to it between artists at a concert the other night 😆 It was nice to sit down this evening and be totally present. I'm also a parent & have a lot of respect for Em so watching you light up with that smile & emotion was kick ass.
