June MOTM: What lurks in the deep woods - bonus concept sketches! // sfw
🕑 Added 2019-06-27 00:54:56 +0000 UTCthese may not be the most intriguing sketches EVER, but since i had them sitting around ... figured i might as well upload them! they show the steps i went through in designing this month's monster. the first sketch was me establishing the basic anatomy of the wood lurker (save for the horns and tail, which i changed a bit between sketch 1 and 4); the second and third shows how i experimented with what type of clothing i wanted him to wear; and in the fourth i tried dressing him in both the cape and the skirt, which is the look that turned into the final coloured version.
