Vulgar Reverie - Updates July 2024

I just wanted to write up a little update on a few things...
Release Dates
Admittedly the last 2 months of releases were very difficult for Karman and I, we put a lot into it and we put pressure on ourselves to stick to the release date we set months ago despite losing many days to personal issues and doing our best to get as much done as possible, leading to crunch, slight burnout and dissatisfaction in not providing everything we wanted to give you all.
Therefore we'd like to be able to be a little more flexible with our monthly releases in that, based on a suggestion we received, want to release the new versions on the following Friday after the 3rd of every month. This gives us more room to finalize and polish and not have to rush anything!
I hope that's okay with everyone and we want to once again thank you all for the support and kindness you have shown us, it means everything to us.
V0.06
We would like to announce now that V0.06 is the beach update, Karman and I are having lots of fun already with this one... 👀
I have the script written out, and Karman is already working a few of the scenes and art which we're excited to tease and show!
What Ifs
"What Ifs" are being reworked, I personally think it's slowly gone away from my original intent and I want to bring it back to what it was (original idea being MC imagining more extreme things that he's not proud of or wouldn't actually want to happen in reality, but it still turns him on).
Right now I feel like it's more just previews of things that will eventually happen which is more just like future spoilers!
Personal Update
...And to end on a personal note, I'm going on a vacation next week just for a little break and to recharge! (No need to worry though, I'll still be posting updates here with new art previews for V0.06!)

I'll never mind extended time frames as long as they're reasonable and yours I perfectly fine. Over the years I've seen devs go from 1 update per month with "X" content, and then they took 6-12 months to release an update with "X+10%" (maybe lol) so they could milk things. Increases of a week, or bimonthly sometimes can be beyond fine, and I more than trust y'all to not jump from monthly to every 3 to 6 months lol Enjoy your vacation
