This whole project 2025 thing, to me, is part hilarious, part saddening, and also part terrifying. As someone who has had a couple family members fall down the rabbit hole, and have had multiple friends fall into the rabbit hole, I realize that this is just targeted at ignorant people as well as those who simply cannot think for themselves.. and most of it revolves around peoples religious beliefs. I laugh at the absolute ridiculous nature of this stuff, I am dumbfounded that this shit actually exists, and I also fear this type of thing regardless of how much I consider myself a revolution minded leftist. I think this is the kind of shit we all have to fear, yet have a respect for it because there are people that actually believe this shit. We really have to fight this kind of thing and never forget how serious there people are. Even fleeing a continent across an ocean to escape the imposing of the churchs ideas nto state control wasn't enough to tell these people that's not freedom. How do we solve it? I have no idea but the more we point these people put as weirdos the more people will actually start to see it.

I'm worried the boys might take too much psychic damage if they watched that course on Marxism. Also I found the discussion on how much the reactionaries drink their own kool-aid is interesting. Off topic but I'd love an episode about Trot orgs. I am in the process of trying to join one organization that seems obsessed with Trotsky, but they seem to lack theory and be revisionist in practice. Another org who's material I like a lot more calls itself Leninist but quotes Trotsky from time to time. Online people seem to either be Trotskyist or hate him but I still don't get the obsession, what did he contribute to theory? What orgs are good enough? I've already given up on DSA and CPUSA but I will join some group this year even if I can't find a great one.
