Crazy how slavery is still a deeply essential aspect of capitalist exploitation esp in the global south

This episode just made me mad. More than most of the other topics y’all have talked about ngl. And I thought I was cynical, smh

There are 3 possibilities as to what's ACTUALLY happening on the podcast: 1. Yugo and Hakim are podcast slaves trapped in the basement of master JT. 2. Yugo and JT are patients of Doctor Hakim, and these are their therapy sessions Or 3. Hakim is a psych ward patient who believes himself to be a doctor, and JT and Yugo are his assigned social workers.

What a depressing episode, thanks!

I love this series idea!! I love when its just the 3 of y’all, but this series would be perfect for bringing on Brace and Liz from True Anon to talk about any particularly ridiculous corporations

They already started coming for the water too. iirc Coca Cola and nestle have bought rights to most of the clean water in places like Haiti

Heh, that sounded thin-skinned as fuck. But fr, the grocery store makes me sad, since I don't have a garden plot anymore.

American here. Few things are better than walking out to the garden in the morning and just biting into a tomato like an apple.

I'm starting a new trend for Alpha Males. You've heard of No Nut November, get ready for Seed Saving September! (I will be killed by Monsato)

Im a chemist and used to focus mostly on environmental chemistry, soil testing and such. There is another crazy way massive agro business are able to target smaller growers and run them out of business that is super common in the US. Corporations will have certain gene sequences essentially copyrighted for thier proprietary species of crop. Smaller growers, sometimes hundreds of miles away, can have thier crop contaminated with the corpo genetic material which then is weaponized by the corpo in the form of lawsuits. It was a intentional strategy made famous by Monsanto a couple decades ago with soy beans specifically. It's insane, they essentially used natural cross pollination to target competitors.

I've been on finasteride since my twenties. I'm 40 now. I also used Minoxidil but it being a lotion or whatever was more inconvenient. Fortunately finasteride didn't affect me in any negative way
