I had no idea who this was before, but for the past like 4 months every time I open TikTok without fail one of the first videos I see *will* to this day be about how she is racist. Never with any specific transgression named, but just like a couple vague references to some lore involving other TikTok users and then some riddle about holding space and accountability.

Regarding the "identity politics" thing, I'm not entirely comfortable using that expression. Most of the time it gets used as if only "progressives" or "liberals" use it, always on favour of racial/sexual minorities, women, etc. Meanwhile republicans yell all the time about being a Christian nation but apparently that's not identity politics. The same thing with the word "woke" although this one's even worse because it's just a conservative moral panic using a word originally used by the black community to alert people about systemic racism.
