I don't think they (The Israeli Apartheid and American Regime) won't try to destroy Hamas despite this ceasefire. Hamas I don't think will sit down and accept it. They have been pissed off too many times from the bombs and every attempt at colonization (this didn't start on Oct 7 obviously). I unfortunately think this will mean that this ceasefire is going to just put a pause to the fighting. If any attempt to remove Hamas occurs, I don't think Hamas will quietly resist. That being said, Hamas has been weakened in terms of government administration (BE has a very good point about Hamas' position in terms of strength) but they can restore provided the war doesn't restart. It will take a lot of time, but it will be doable. If the Palestinians are as agitated as Electronic Intifada claims, the Palestinians will not hesitate to continue supporting Hamas.
