Vanilla PBR for Deferred Lighting - (Updated / v1.3 December 8, 2023)

Vanilla PBR is a new resource pack, built upon Vanilla RTX that enables you to use the new graphics features on the latest preview.
Installation Information:
You can download the first release of Vanilla PBR from this post and use it on Minecraft Preview v1.20.30.20 and above.
Enable deferred lighting through video settings after activating Vanilla PBR and experimental Render Dragon features in your world settings. Xbox, Windows PCs & most modern Android phones are supported.
Couple of thoughts:
Unfortunately the Minecraft community has been falsely attaching the name "Shader" to resource packs that are using some of these new features, despite not having characteristics that define a Minecraft shader pack.
It is better to think of the new pipeline as a new and alternative graphics for Minecraft.
Think of it as the new vanilla shader pack, built into the game.
My own speculation is these features will be expanded as time goes on, in that case I might continue Vanilla PBR as a side-project to Vanilla RTX which supports a much wider range of devices.
Note that both Vanilla PBR and the Deferred Rendering Pipeline are early in development, Deferred Rendering Pipeline features are subject to change and Vanilla PBR will need to adapt as a consequence.

(August 25, 2023) / Vanilla PBR v1.1.0 Release:
The first major update of Vanilla PBR is here! This update addresses several issues with the first release, improves the appearance of several items, and adds support for Slime and Magma cubes.
What’s new in this update:
- New water materials, allowing for reflection from point lights and directional lights.
- Support for slime has been added, consistent with slime block
- Support for magma cubes has been added
- Fixed an issue where some dripstone stages had a yellow tint
- Fixed incorrect dripstone heightmaps
- Improved copper materials to closely resemble metal
- Improved materials of all oxidization stages of copper materials

(December 8, 2023) / Vanilla PBR v1.3 Release:
Hey everyone, today I am updating this post with the third major Vanilla PBR release.
This update adds point lights for every vanilla block with a light level other than 0, alongside addition of fog and numerous other fixes and improvements.
This version is meant for preview v1.20.60.21 and above, so make sure to update your Minecraft Preview installation first to get all the new features!
This version of Vanilla PBR might also have many broken emissive textures on versions older than 1.20.60.21
Vanilla PBR v1.3.0 Changelogs:
• Added pointlights for applicable blocks and items, now emitting proper light and interacting with the materials around them. More than 70 blocks were added in this update, each with a fitting color of light that best matches the block's colors and accurately represents the overall color of light it would emit.
If more vanilla blocks are found that should emit light they will be added in a future update. (If you found one, let me know!)
• Updated textures based on Vanilla RTX 1.20.5, as a result this update comes with some of the applicable improvements that were included in Vanilla RTX 1.20.5 Autumn Quality Update (Summary: revamped mushroom and prismarine materials, improved observer and various other materials were tweaked and improved)
• Fixed various materials and textures appearing glossy
- Increased all Hardened Clay roughness.
• Inverted back all heightmaps (previously inverted to counter a bug, however now it is no longer necessary)
• Fixed Spiders, Enderman and Ender Dragon bodies glowing
• Adjusted and balanced emissivity of various blocks, added emissivity to the enchanting table (alongside its pointlight), weeping vines no longer appear glossy, emissivity on many items that previously had emissivity was greatly reduced.
• Fixed some sculk items incorrectly emitting light
• Minecarts now appear metallic, consistent with Iron
• Redesigned Icon as a part of the upcoming Vanilla RTX Reform.
• Added a default volumetric fog configuration for all biomes. (This will be expanded upon to cover more biomes with a future update)
• Added support for the following entities:
- All colors of bed
- Bees
- All types of boats
- All 60 NPC characters (Education Edition)
- All types of Parrots
- Pig and Zombie Pig
- All 3 Piglin types
- Piston Arms
- All rabbit types (white, gold, brown, etc...)
- All shields
- All shulkers
- Mob skulls all
- Tadpole
- Villagers (All types and professions, and levels)
- The Warden (currently bugged)
- Wither boss
- Wolf (all types)
- Zoglin
- Zombies (all types, except drowned which was added earlier)
- Zombie villagers

Hi, there a few ways, for the most common method you will need Minecraft Preview on a phone, and use a LAN game on the phone to get the resource pack on Xbox, by forcing the resource pack in world settings of your phone's Minecraft and later joining the world with Xbox. This could be done with a PC too, if both Xbox and PC are connected to the same network, or use different Xbox Live accounts on PC and Xbox and you can join each other's world over internet, make sure the world is setup correctly with "Require players to accept resource packs" turned on along with resource pack and experimental options enabled. P.S. I can not verify if they work, as I do not own Xbox gaming consoles, overall, getting a custom resource pack on Xbox isn't as straightforward as it is on a PC, but not impossible, you can also find quite a few tutorials on YouTube on this topic.
