Is there another way? Did not fix it for me :(

CubeIR

There is an "Enable Fog" option in the same settings.json file that allows you to fully disable the fog. As for tuning density of the fog, that's currently not possible, but its a great idea! I added it to feature list, so expect a control for it in a future update!

Emi Star

Thank you! this fixed it. Very foggy though, is there a way to turn the fog down?

CubeIR

Hey! Apparently the sun path modifier has been causing this issue with modded Minecraft, you can disable this at RTX Reactor's installation directory -> src folder -> settings.json Open the json file with any text editor and look for the line "SunAzimuthModifier": true change true to false instead to disable the sun path modifier. After this, open RTX Reactor and re-generate your resource pack once more, hopefully this solves it.

is there a way to get the converted packs to work with better rtx? When using betterrtx it makes the sky grey and removes all clouds

CubeIR

If the pack is structured in a weird way, it is helpful to know RTX Reactor looks specifically for the textures/blocks folders within any texture pack. You can use this information to restructure the pack so that all of blocks textures are in a textures/blocks folder (this folder must be valid and identified by the game as well, prior to feeding the pack to RTX Reactor). If this doesn't help, there is also the possibility that some packs use texture variants (for lots of blocks perhaps?) in that case, even if the pack is structured correctly, there is a Minecraft bug that prevents PBR materials to load for texture variations. I would like to look into this closely, if you had a link to this particular pack or sent me errors/console logs you get (if there are any).

Ah, thanks! Had better RTX installed, that messed up the sky. Though the copy of the pack is not encrypted, just strangely structured. Love Mojangs poor attempts to force everything to work through marketplace only, lovely company, fantastic mindset. Adding unnessecery hurdles to everything, it gets more frustrating every update.

CubeIR

Hi, marketplace packs are encrypted and files can not be read/modified by RTX Reactor. If you manage to obtain an unencrypted copy, it should work normally like any regular bedrock edition resource pack. As for the issue with sky, make sure you're using an unmodified version of Minecraft, this file should work flawlessly if game's files are not tampered with, you could reinstall or repair the game's files.

thank you

CubeIR

Hey, make sure you've installed .NET 6.0 from Microsoft's website. In case you're having trouble finding it through google, there are links to it in all of older alpha release posts, and the documentation.pdf in this post.

Brian Barron Amaya

why doesn't the rtx reactor console open when I click on the shortcut.
