I TOTALLY AGREE. There comes a point where certain members have different "flavors" and how they individually express themselves and to be over the top to the point of corny and fake would have made it worse. IDGI

Yes and it literally picks up as soon as the cameras cut on the live finale. Good mix of reality, behind the scenes and group fun.

Agreed^, and as you might not know, there are ‘behind the scenes’ clips from i-land and they’re about 3-7 minutes. I believe there’s 17, but I personally only watched a few and loved them all:) feel free to watch them!! Whether on your own time or here on patreon is absolutely up to you❤️ It’s been a long journey🤧 and hope all the i-land boys are doing great💃🏽

i don’t think i’ll ever shut up about how much i despise the obsession with facial expressions the mentors had in this show. i do often wonder whether i watched a completely different chamber 5 performance to the one they saw because i don’t get what they were saying at all. i understand where they’re coming from, since facial expressions really do sell a concept, but as a viewer and a consumer of kpop, there is a limit to selling a concept - whether it be that it’s too over the top or comes across as really fake. for me, if the chamber 5 members had smiled any harder or “tried” to enjoy it more, it would’ve just been way too fake and the quality of the performance would’ve been so much lower. not once did i look at an individual member and think “yeah they’re not enjoying this” or “they’re not convincing enough”. it seemed like a genuinely fun performance in which they all had a great time on stage, but it could just be me being a shooter for the chamber 5 team. that being said i am still waiting on the release of a studio version of it.
