Ah! A portable tree stump!

It's already so complicated!

The robot is already jealous.

An angry duck.
Watch Wes Work
There seem to be a few out there already.

It should be dug in. Hopefully it will no lift anything, but you never know.
Watch Wes Work
No mention their poor customer service.

The logging robot is looking pretty jealous.
Watch Wes Work
It basically does the same thing as the skidder, but with less style!
Watch Wes Work
Right on all accounts.

Need more sheaves in the jib head [ :) ]

Yep, I also see that attached to the logging robot. A robot deforester would be perfect for brush clearing!.
Adrian Gadd
Is that a duck?

I wonder if this "contraption" can be patented ?? Seems like I've seen a few renditions out there, all basically the same, dig in front, cable over the top... it works
Mark Rages
Make sure to calculate the tipping moment of the skid steer. Or is the blade meant to be dug in while the lifting is happening.

I suspect this is owing to the lack of a nearby (like in the same house) tow company's availability...
Watch Wes Work
The pulley can swivel just like a tow truck.

Can’t wait Wes! No matter what it is it will be interesting if you’re involved. You can make any task intriguing as far as that goes.

I'm picturing this going on the front of the logging robot

I started having Battlebot flashbacks when I first saw it.Maybe graft that onto the robotic logskidder and have a full-size battlebot? What a rad project Wes!

Looks like some sort of winch system, with the angled blade, maybe for side pull applications. Limited access with the (looks like) swiveling guide for the winch rope?
Tim Allan
1. Needs an upper jaw with sharp teeth, like an angler fish. 2. Seriously, how have you designed it to cope with pulls not directly in-line (left/right) with the fairlead?

Seems to me I've seen something similar a Heavy D Sparks channel..........

Hank will find something. Stranded golf carts maybe.

Not going to lie, I am looking at this and trying to figure out what is going on and what is being recovered. I believe this falls in to the “… the mind boggles!” category. Will be interesting to see what you come up with. ✅ 🧠

She'd have the best parking space...

Wrecker boom and a dozer blade interesting

Looks like something Mrs. Wes could use at work.

It's currently on Amazon Prime. Not that I would have watched it or anything...

Don’t ask my why but I suddenly want to watch Maximum Overdrive

OK what is it..

Something like that!

Wes, you making a robotic kill dozer?
