Yeah that's true, and for every balance there's an audience. Both Tavarish and South Main Auto make popular wrenching videos yet they couldn't be more different in terms of technical depth

Thanks!
Watch Wes Work
Thanks! We really appreciate it.
Watch Wes Work
It was a fun build.
Watch Wes Work
I don't have any drawings that would be useful. Maybe I can make some in the future.
Bill
Happy to provide fiscal support to whatever hair-brained schemes you can come up with. They are always well done and routinely amusing.
Andrew Smith
Great to support you in making great content, always something interesting!
scottgm321
It's fun to get to watch you use your skills and talents for fun and not just work. Thanks for another great video.
William Kraan
Wes I love your content and just wondering if you have a drawing link if you are happy to share with me and it’s a great achievement for you as I’m a metal fabricator myself a one mate I live in Newcastle Australia keep it up cheers
Watch Wes Work
I didn't. I guess that's more of a thing we would need to do some testing to see how much wear to expect.
Watch Wes Work
Thank you so much!

I picture him reeling in a huge gator!

I was ready to push it off a cliff.

I think I'll add the rollers to the shopping list.

Thanks!

Great job on the design and fabrication work Wes! Not sure if this is applicable to your welder, but I had a similar frustrating wire feeding problem with an old Migatronic 220 welder. I Replaced the liner, the tips, complete gun and outer, still the same. Turns out the problem was a worn feed roller, the machine was designed to have a knurled surface on the roller and mine had worn totally smooth. One new roller later and it was like an brand new machine!
Tim Figgins
Hey Wes. Nice work.
Jay VanLanduyt
Looks like Wes did a little housekeeping. There were several comments on the YouTube upload that were negative about the brief comment he made thanking the patreon supporters. A couple were downright nasty. Just keyboard commandos mouthing off about a money grab and blah blah blah. Because, as you know, Wes is fleecing us soooo bad to pay for his new mansion and yacht. Or something.
Steven Cox
are you going to put a bushing in the top so you can replace it when it gets worn, instead of making a whole new one
Ian McKay
Typical Wes build. Superb engineering, super design, awesome build quality, and a few annoying troubles along the way with that damn welder. As a proud patreon member, this is what we are for. The out of the blue ideas that need someone like Wes to design and build, without a safety net, for him to devote time to these jobs. YOU ARE MORE THAN WELCOME WES, This is why we do it!!!! Best wishes from UK.
Kowyn Hibbert (Warrior of the Rusty Wrench)
That's a thing of beauty Wes and I ain't kidding. Now he just needs to find some school house's to pull off their foundations.
StarWatcher
Great job. Implantation of ideas is always hard! Welder issues don't help, but as usual, IT WORKS!!!!
Marshall
Hi. The comments I have read have been quite positive and supportive? Where were the comments you mention?
Curtis Roberts
Wowsa! I can see that in today's world with steel prices etc. Not that's it's right but that it is. If that's true you could sell them cheaper and still make some good money.
Watch Wes Work
Hank was saying other units are going for $9000. That seems crazy.
Watch Wes Work
Yeah if I had to paint it the cost would have to go way up!
Watch Wes Work
I don't understand it either. I'm not selling anyone anything or trying to get rich.
Jay VanLanduyt
I can't believe a 10 second plug thanking your patreon folks turned into so many nasty and stupid comments. I will never understand these people. To hell with them. To me, your content is easily worth $5/month in entertainment, and I would kick in more if it was an option. You are, by the way, the only YouTuber I support.
CapnMac82
I notice you put the painting onus on Hank :-) Was a cool video, every time I thought to myself "They ought to put a [thing] in [place] y'all did do just that.
Curtis Roberts
I'm sure 5k$ would at least get you to consider it.
Watch Wes Work
They do look nice. My table works pretty well though.
Watch Wes Work
Yeah It took us the better part of 3 days to build it and I had who knows how many hours in the design. I guess if someone wanted to pay for that I could make more.
Watch Wes Work
It probably needs a few more rings.
Curtis Roberts
What a great project. I love being able to put the hood down and run weld for hours. Clears the mind from all the bs and you just get to focus on what you're doing. Looks like you did amazing work. I know there are some other tow companies with similar items I dont know if they are purchased or built. You might get a few requests for them after he showcases it a few times. I imagine the price of building one for a paying customer would be prohibitive to the purchase. That was a lot of work. I hope it does financially pay off down the road however.
Terry Kasprzyk
You ruined it for me. I was gonna tell you to put a d ring on it for the snatch block lol. Awesome job!
Aaron Windsor
Nice!! That will pull about anything out! One thing is for sure building something that size make wish you had a big fixture table from Fireball Tool plus his big vise just to have!! LOL
Watch Wes Work
Noted. It's tough to know the right balance on the engineering nerd stuff. We are not getting 1.5 degrees, so we'll just have to live with some cable winding issues.
dozerman53111
One helluva job !! Well done Wes.
Wouter Visee
Nice, but would be even nicer to hear something about the engineering part of it, maybe during the footage of the welding/cutting operations. Like how thick is the steel and why, how does this compare to commercial offerings, how much money are you saving, how you're getting a 1.5° angle for the cable with this setup (I don't see it), if it's possible to shorten the liner of the MIG welder to cut out the overheated part etc. That's why I like your channel, because I actually learn something and not just look at pretty footage.

very nice work

Nice work Wes. Some great fabrication there.

I remember thinking when you built your shop -- it's not big enough!
Watch Wes Work
I think I'll get the 15'. I'm always coming up short.
Watch Wes Work
He can really hold down a shop stool!
Watch Wes Work
As long as the gators don't get it!
Anditainment
Don't you worry, it's probably this hyperfocus thing: You focus on getting S*it done, I can appreciate this. That being said, there better be a follow up on this contraption performing or I'll post mildly disappointent comments (if I feel daring).
Watch Wes Work
I'll have to build a bigger shop...
Too poor for a dirt floor
I bought a 15’ knock off miller for mine off eBay 2 years ago and it’s been solid and my millermatic lives outside under a tarp ALOT
Jeffry Blackmon
Change the channel name to : Wes Works Well. I'm not discounting Hank's able assistance.
John OBrien
Another well-designed and executed project that will last for years. Nice work.
Dave
O boy..... Look what you started Hamilton farms/watch Wes work!!! Dirt perfect, diesel creek, let's dig 18 etc are going to be blowing up your phone wanting the plans and or you do build them one! That thing is NASTY! I can't wait to see it painted and put in to action! Awesome job as always Wes!! Absolutely loved this video 💝💝💝
Greg G.
Have never heard of or seen one before. Great piece of equipment though!
Watch Wes Work
Nah. Several companies are already making them.
Watch Wes Work
I should have!
Watch Wes Work
Me too. He's a good guy.
Watch Wes Work
He'll have it out in the woods soon I'm sure.
Watch Wes Work
You bet!
Watch Wes Work
Stick always works. If you can figure out how to work it.
Watch Wes Work
That's high marks!
Watch Wes Work
Sorry. Sometimes I miss the forest for the trees.
Greg G.
You to patent that thing! Awesome! Loved every minute of it!
Watch Wes Work
Thanks!
Watch Wes Work
It's both sketchy and not sketchy.
South Street Barbecue
That was awesome! Around here though, mechanics charge extra if you "help them out"...which is understandable if I'm the one "helping".
Watch Wes Work
Did you register that?

That was a great build, Wes. Thanks for sharing it.

I mean I appreciate you not doing advertisement a lot but would you mind to drop a link to this guys channel? Maybe I', living under a rock or something but he doesn't seem familiar. Also: great work, I love these engineering projects which can be done in a rather short amount of time.
Cesar
Thanks for sharing, Wes; I am enjoying the new content.
Jon Koferl
love it Wes.
Jay and Kate
That’s a helluva contraption
Watch Wes Work
They were perfect for the job! Thanks again.

Glad to see you could use those bucket teeth. Better than sending them to the scrap heap, which is where they were heading otherwise.
