Until recently I was a 4h agent, so was in charge of the hog program, but the goat program runs the same way. People donate their animals after the auction all the time, the kid keeps the animal and the money. The goat story is so insane. I worked with 4h in Louisiana for 10 years and nothing like this ever happened.
