CSP Auto Action - Lineart Color
🕑 Added 2019-07-22 14:52:09 +0000 UTCI made these CSP auto actions to quickly give a base color to my lineart.
These actions only work if your lineart is already fully colored (including background for best results). It takes colors from the rest of the drawing so your line colors are cohesive.
Make sure none of your color layers are locked before you use the actions!
How to Use
To load the set in, open the Auto Action window and go to "Import set" from the dropdown in the corner. Load in the file and the set should appear in your action list.
To use, make sure your lineart layer is selected. Both raster and vector layers are fine for this, so no need to rasterize your lineart if it isn't already.
Now all you need to do is press play on the Auto Action you want to use, and your lineart will be colored! It will be clipped on top of your lineart with a clipping mask, so you can remove the color or adjust the opacity/hue/saturation/etc. however you like.
The different versions are for slightly tweaking the colors of the lineart. The (More Blue) version makes the lineart more cool-toned, the (More Red) version makes it more warm-toned, and the (Normal) version just pulls colors directly from the artwork with no adjustments.
How I Use Them
I personally like to use these as a base for my lineart colors to keep everything cohesive. Once I use the Auto Action on my lineart, I like to put another Normal mode layer on top of that, apply a clipping mask, and then use my own personal colors on top at 50-65% opacity. This way the colors will fit in with the rest of the color scheme, but also look correct for the specific area I'm coloring.

you should be able to load in the .SUT file by going to the dropdown menu on the Actions panel and going to "import set" ! if you have any other questions about it feel free to send me a message and i'll try to help you get it straightened out!

I can't seem to get it to import... ;; I downloaded the file, but CSP can't seem to find it. ;A;
