Haha, I'll take a Wes Anderson props, fo' sho'. Yeah though, blue and orange make a VERY appealing combo, so no wonder movie posters use it all the time. And yeaaaah I'm happy to convey that "walked into some shit bigger than you" feel. Thanks!

Jesus that last panel hits hard. The orange lighting, the very Wes Anderson style framing. Just this whole page really makes Wash feel small and insignificant. I can't wait to see page 2

Hnnnnghhhh the hues together here are fawkin' *gorgeous* through that window, woman. Beautiful job. I absolutely LOVE the silent panels. No sounds, no words (nobody speak, nobody get choked). Wash's face in 2 is excellent, but the way we can all but *hear* his frantic searching and panting and shit, it's excellent. Conveys so much through the angles and the body language you deploy. I love the detail of him putting the gun away as he picks up the recorder. It's a nice move that pushes us into the same sorta hesitant "settled" state he's in. Also, on the subject of the angles in general -- DAMN. You rock those hard. They look stunning, especially 2 and 3. Sets the mood well, and makes us feel like we're alone here with Wash, about to be hit with some *shit*. (Lookin' forward to it maybe)
