For this one I tried out an overlay layer in Blender as well as an effect/alpha channel layer. The texture painter isn't REALLY built for that sort of thing, and some of the painting was done half-blind, so I wouldn't consider it an *optimal* workflow, just possible. Might need more research to see if I'm missing out on some tools.

Haha yeah, I have to remind myself it's JUST to get my chops up in the grease pencil, and to stop playing around with all the other shiny buttons in Blender. There IS pressure sensitivity, actually, and I'll have to see what that even looks like next page or so. Haha yes, damn Caboose for being a good emotional fixture in a scene. There's a reason he's popular, I guess. God, the hierarchy of access clearances in FHQ must be infuriating by design. (yer welc)

[spits out slapping pussies] Mmmm, Blender layers. GOD stop making me want to mess with Resolve, some of those fawkin' layers are neat as shit and can do some magical shit. BUT like you said, also not always optimal. Still, I like seein' ya experiment! Your lines are definitely growin' on me, yeaaaah. It's still strange to not have that distinct pencil look, but I like the different vibe we get from this -- it looks like there's no pressure sensitivity? Was curious if that was a Blender thing, or just somethin' ya haven't found a thing for yet. It creates a new atmosphere, though. ...lmao I HATE to say it but the panoply of Caboose faces are def. the highlight here. He's such a pouty bitch but MAN it works well. I like his dejection, v. emotive. AND YES the giant fawkin' tea cups are a close second, ahahaha, that detail. Thank you for that. I also love the idea that...the Freelancers are just passin' back and forth through locked doors and not giving anyone else the codes, so these non-security mugs just get to awkwardly hang outside, lmao. Absurdity in its finest element. (Doctor Doc can live rent-free in my mind eternally, by the way, thanks)
