No, not weird…more like he only started to think something was weird when Professor Glynda brought up Aura High.
He felt strong, light, like anything could happen and he’d just be himself. He felt so full of energy that he even opted to skip breakfast and lunch! It felt like…him being himself but really not?
He first thought that it was just because he was training for hours and he was rushing to catch up to class tired but he didn’t feel tired, not really.
When he fought Mercury, the same guy he also fought from his dream, he felt….smooth? powerful? confident? Like he was just fighting the training bots only to realize what was really happening in the middle of it. Even then, he just decided to let his body move. It felt like he was on autopilot and watching his body move from afar.
It was kinda weird now that he’s thinking about it.
Which is probably why he was being strapped to a bed right now. Could have sounded sexy in any other context but not when he was being watched by literally all of his friends, Professor Glynda, and a female Faunus wearing a lab coat.
“Is this really necessary?” He asks with a frown as he feels the Faunus tighten the strap on his arms.
“...Yes. Yes, it is. We don’t know if you turning off your Semblance so suddenly after hours of constant use will give you a violent reaction. Better safe than sorry.”
That sounded like a medical thing to say but the only problem was….she wasn’t familiar. She wasn’t the one who patched up Ren last night and he says so.
“Hey…You’re not the one who patched Ren up last night.” He squints her but she only grins at him from above.
“Ah, that was Peach. She’s the Professor of Plant Science so she can double as a First-Aid responder when it comes to the field. I’m the one in charge of Beacon’s medical team. My name’s Tsune. First name Nurse, last name Tsune.”
Nurse Tsune, showcasing a set of brown ears and a fluffy brown tail, gives him a grin. Jaune only blinks his eyes at her in confusion.
“That’s a thing?”
“Haha, no. I wasn’t here last night because I needed to assist the injured in Vale to remind humans that not all Faunus are out to hurt them. Now keep your Semblance up until I tell you to stop.” Nurse Tsune answers, leaning downwards to look closer into Jaune’s eyes.
He does not notice Blake flinching at the reminder of last night. He does notice Professor Glynda perk up at that reminder however as he feels his Aura and Semblance under his skin.
“That reminds me. Detention, all of you. That’s why I called Team RWBY here as well.”
Jaune would have groaned together with everyone but he was busy looking into Nurse Tsune’s eyes as she turned his head this way and that.
“Don’t groan at me.” Professor Glynda snaps and everyone flinches even as she continues. “A lot of people were injured from your actions last night.”
Now that’s not fair. It was Roman who did it! He moves to say so but the disciplinarian just cuts him off.
“Your punishment will be….”
Everyone gulps nervously at that pause. The last time they were in this position they got…a week with….Professor Port. It still sends shivers down Jaune’s spine when he thinks about it and he isn’t the only one.
“Please not Port, please not Port, please not Port.” Yang whispers intensely and he can already see Nora whispering with her.
“...Community Service.”
““YES!”” Yang and Nora shout, pumping their fists and high fiving each other.
Even Pyrrha and Blake smile at each other as Ren, Ruby, and Weiss breathe a sigh of relief.
“Ahem.”
They all freeze when they suddenly see Professor Glynda glaring at them.
“”I mean, Oh No! Whatever shall we do?”” Both Yang and Nora swoon together by leaning against each other only to be separated by the glow of Professor Glynda’s Semblance.
“Make no mistake, this is a punishment. We are just giving you responsibility you can learn from. The details will be shared with your teams tomorrow. With that said, Tsune, what is your diagnosis?” Professor Glynda finishes, reminding them why they came here in the first place.
"Right. He’s got too much Aura alright. You normally need to take a dozen pills of Aura Booster to get the same result, but he’s doing it with just his Semblance.” Nurse Tsune replies, leaning back away from Jaune to look at his friends.
“Is that bad?” Pyrrha asks worriedly from beside Blake but Jaune gives them a comforting smile from his position. He didn’t really feel anything bad despite everyone saying he has too much Aura.
“...Surprisingly, not so much for him.” Nurse Tsune speaks out thoughtfully, putting a hand on her chin in thought.
He smirks when she gives them her verdict. See? He’s fine. No need to worry so much.
“What? How is that possible?” Professor Goodwitch exclaims, surprised at her colleague’s observation.
“Well, as much as we want to say Aura Boosters just hastens our body’s natural function to regenerate Aura, it is still a mixture of Dust, multivitamins, and whatever unholy stuff our scientists mix with it. I don’t know the details but that’s soul science mixed with medical science for you. The point is it's all artificial and is therefore an external influence acting on the body. External influence that our body cannot accommodate too much of.”
“But Jaune didn’t take Aura Boosters.” Ruby pipes in nervously while wringing her hands in worry.
“Yes, and it’s amazing actually. This is the first time I’ve seen something like this. What your friend seems to be doing here is his body is naturally generating it without any external factor. It is literally coming from inside his soul and his body is adapting to it.”
“So….does that mean I can do this all the time and grow stronger?” Jaune asks, flexing his restraints while trying to look at his own muscles.
Stronger? He feels strong that’s for sure but nothing out of the ordinary. It was just like finishing one of Nora’s warmup before she pushes him to break one of his personal records. If it could make him stronger though…
He sees the moment everyone’s eyes widen at the implication. Physical growth plus invulnerability to damage? That’s…..
“AWESOME! Fearless leader can literally surpass his limits!” Nora shouts excitedly, raising her hands up before clinging to Ren who only smiles and nods at the news.
“Damn, talk about overpowered. That’s better than my Semblance.” Yang whistles in amazement and Jaune could even see Weiss nod with a complicated expression between Yang and Ruby.
Ha! He can finally catch up! Now he just has to use his Semblance all the ti-
“Nope!”
Nurse Tsune’s chortle however, derails every single one of them from the wild thoughts they were already starting to run into.
“Have you not noticed anything?” She continues, staring sternly at him when he moves to complain.
“Uhm…I’m stronger and invulnerable to damage?”
“Other than that, obviously.” Nurse Tsune only rolls her eyes but even Blake can’t seem to get what she is trying to point to.
“Jaune!” Ruby gasps and everyone immediately turns to reaper only to see her waving both hands towards him. “It’s…your..you!”
Now that’s just rude. Best friend or not, weird feelings or not, you just don’t wave at a person like that when looking for a problem.
“You just waved to all of me.” Jaune replies with a frown on his face.
“Exactly!” Ruby exclaims with a beaming smile aimed towards him.
MUST….NOT…PET!
He grumbles loudly at that. She’s lucky she’s cute or he would have said something like…something like…. she’s the problem or something but that wouldn’t be true..
“While Ms. Rose explained it poorly, her observation was correct.” Nurse Tsune however only chuckles at her which tells them Ruby was at least on the right track. “While your soul overflows, you….express more of you to the outside world so to speak.”
Expressing more of himself to the outside world while his soul is overflowing? Is that what’s happening? It certainly felt like a plausible explanation now that he’s thinking about it. Come to think of it, even his thoughts felt…looser? freer? loopy? but that could just be because he woke up early to train and skipped breakfast and lunch.
“Tell us Jaune, how did you feel when you fought in Combat Class earlier?” Nurse Tsune turns back towards him and jolts him out of his prior thoughts.
Combat Class? He thinks back to that moment. Professor Glynda pointing out to him his opponent, Mercury Black. The second he thought about the time they faced each other just before the fight started, Jaune already knew the answer.
“Like I’m going to win the Vytal Tournament.” He answers firmly, thinking back and overlapping the same event in his dream.
It was hardly going to be an easy fight, most certainly a hard one if they fought till the end, but Jaune knew then that he could do it. He was going to win the Vytal Tournament.
Weiss snorts and it was the most unexpected sound he’d heard from her so far that he couldn’t help but gawk. In fact, all their friends were gawking at her.
Feeling the pressure, she blushes and crosses her arms before harrumphing at them. “What?! It’s just one fight. Don’t be absurd and say you are going to win the tournament.”
“Heh! Well said, Weiss-Cream. Team RWBY’s here to win it, you know.” Yang pipes in, pumping her fist in support of her team.
They’re right….It is too absurd for him to feel that way. Just because he felt like he could beat Mercury doesn’t mean he could win the tournament. After all, Team RWBY was here when they weren’t in his dream. Still, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have a chance, after all….
“I did beat Weiss though.” He adds with a smirk.
It must have been strange seeing someone strapped to a bed smirking at you but he makes it work anyhow as everyone reacts.
“Oh snap! Nice one Jaune-Jaune.” Nora hollers as he could see Ren and Pyrrha chuckle besides her.
Blake smiles at him together with Ruby as they see him well enough to actually joke with them despite his strange predicament. Yang only barks a good natured laugh as Weiss suddenly points at him.
“A fluke! That was a fluke! Don’t be so confident just because you beat me once!”
“He might not be able to help it. It’s the Aura High” Nurse Tsune cuts in with a chuckle, reminding them of why they were here in the first place. “Your confidence skyrockets and your doubts start to disappear.”
Jaune blinks at that. That…could certainly explain what he’s feeling but it could just also be from him doing well against Mercury? Besides, if it’s making him confident and removing his doubts then shouldn’t it be a good thing?
Nurse Tsune however just continues and pops his bubble.
“At first, you might think these are good..” Jaune nods in agreement. “...and they might be for a time, but make no mistake, it’s all down here from there.”
“What happens after?” He tilts his head in confusion and worry.
Nurse Tsune nods at him gravely and Jaune couldn’t help but gulp in the sudden change of mood.
“Soon, your inner thoughts won’t be so inner anymore and next thing you know, your restraints are gone and you have no more inhibitions. Recklessness and Impulsiveness are also common manifestations. Then before you even know it, you would’ve already done something you would otherwise regret.”
And with that ominous note, Jaune pales even more. He could see how bad it could get if it does happen.
As team leader, he always had to be careful when considering how to fight the Grimm. He’s always had the pressure that if he does something wrong then someone could really get hurt. With impulsiveness and recklessness ruling his mind, he might lead his team into danger. Something he would really regret.
He could see his friends wearing complicated expressions themselves as they considered Nurse Tsune’s words.
Professor Glynda sighs when she sees their bothered expressions. “There’s a reason why we don’t advertise this state. Despite Aura High being extremely useful in combat like Mr. Arc showed earlier, its long term effects are not something we want anyone to experience.”
“Besides, you could explode.” Nurse Tsune suddenly pipes up casually. Too casually for JAune’s taste is his eyes widened in horror.
“””””I/He can what?!””””” He and his friends all shout out at the same time.
“Geez, calm down, will you?” Nurse Tsune winces, rubbing her sensitive ears at the sudden volume.
“I thought you said his body was adapting and getting stronger.” Blake speaks incredulously at Nurse Tsune and Jaune is touched by her concern.
Nurse Tsune only chortles before crossing her arms. “I did, but his body is adapting slowly. Pour in too much juice in a short amount of time and you’re liable to have a broken body.” She then turns towards Jaune and uncrosses her arms to poke him in the chest. “So don’t get any ideas young man that you can just carelessly pour everything and then some, okay?”
“Yes, ma’am. So should I stop my Semblance now?” Jaune asks, paling considerably at Nurse Tsune’s warning.
“Hmmm, one last test first.” Nurse Tsune hums and she gets a twinkle in her eye that discomforts him
Professor Goodwitch must have felt the same thing because she warns Nurse Tsune. “Tsune, you can’t experiment with the students.”
“Yes, please do not experiment with my body.” His mouth blurts out suddenly while his thoughts are distracted by what kind of experiments that could be on him.
Only Pyrrha and Blake could do th-! Holy shit! Was that how it starts? His inner thoughts suddenly not being so inner anymore? If so, then Nurse Tsune better do something soon while Jaune tries his best to keep his mouth shut.
“Oh come on! He’s a scientific goldmine! The only person we know of that could naturally achieve Aura High!”
Oh hell no! As amazing as that sounded, this was not the time! He could already feel his thoughts start to run wild.
“Tsune!”
Yes! Stop her Professor Glynda!
“Just one question, Glynda. It’s just one question. You can give that to me, right?”
Never has Jaune thought he would ever witness the scene of another faculty member begging Glynda Goodwitch for something with puppy dog eyes.
It might have been the extra Faunus features that does it but everyone sees Glynda Goodwitch hesitate and nod slowly in resignation.
Nooooo!!!!!!
“Fine. You have one question. Ask it.”
“Perfect! Thank you, thank you, thank y-” Nurse Tsune perks up, quickly grabbing Glynda’s hand and wagging her tail back and forth.
“Just ask it before I change my mind.” Professor Glynda sighs out.
Nurse Tsune suddenly seems to have achieved super speed as she instantly turns to ask Jaune.
“So, Jaune. You said that you’ve had your Semblance activated since 4AM. That’s an awfully long time to keep your Semblance activated.” Nurse Tsune grins maniacally as she leans closer to Jaune. “People usually start losing inhibitions soon after three hours of Aura High.”
Losing inhibitions alright, he just really really wants to scratch her ears right no-No! Bad Jaune! Do not scratch her ears! It seems his silence however was unwelcome because Nurse Tsune hums at him.
“The point is, Jaune. I want to know how far along you are in terms of behavioral changes within the given time frame. So answer me this, with loosened inhibitions and restraints…” Jaune blushes at Nurse Tsune’s pause, wild thoughts running through his head at the mention of loosened inhibitions again. This time…there were way more different things he wanted to do than just scratching ears.
“What do you want to do right now?” Nurse Tsune finishes the question after the pause, causing everyone to snap towards Jaune expectantly.
He could feel the pressure as everyone leaned forward to hear his answer. He stutters as he tries to think of a way out of this without blurting out something embarrassing.
“I..uhm. I want to-”
He inadvertently finds a solution in just thinking so many things that his tongue can’t form the right words.
“Shush. Don’t think about it. Just answer with the first things that come to mind.” Nurse Tsune cuts him off.
Prompted to speak the first thing that comes to mind however, Jaune’s heart latches onto one of the random thoughts running through his mind.
“I want to train.”
Yes. Training. He wants to train for reasons he has already listed to himself before. He could see everyone blink incredulously at his answer. It seems Nurse Tsune wasn’t the only one expecting for something ludicrous to come out of his mouth.
“That’s it? Huh, I guess you’re more in control than I thought.”
Ha! Serves them right. Jaune had a lot of things he desired. Like making sweet sweet love to his gi-nope, not gonna think about that right now. The point is, he can think of something not embarrassing. Something like-
“I want to master my Semblance.” Jaune suddenly blurts out and his eyes widen in surprise just as much as theirs. He didn’t even try to say it yet it just came out of his mouth!
Professor Glynda squints her eyes at him in appreciation, before speaking.
“Hmmm, that’s surprisingly proactive of you, Mr. Arc. Well don-”
Jaune cuts her off however, once again blurting out his inner thoughts.
“I’m also planning to win the Vytal Tournament.”
Bad! This is bad! It seems now that he’s started sharing, his mouth has a hard time stopping. So far though, everything he is just saying are goals he doesn’t mind them knowing.
“Ha! Well said, fearless leader! We are going to crush it!” Nora exclaims happily, raising her hands together and Jaune could only smile at that. He panics though when he feels his mouth begin to move again, only Yang’s words cutting him off stops him.
“Woah there, those are fighting words, you know?”
“Indeed, that is certainly an ambitious statement.” Weiss flicks her side tail back while raising an eyebrow at him.
Weiss….oh damn Weiss. Does he still have a crush on Weiss Schnee? A little bit. It was hard not to. She was Weiss, there’s nothing more to say.
Does he want to say something like that in front of everyone with his girlfriend and his maybe other girlfriend watching? Hell no! He’s happy with the way things are!
They’re sorta maybe friends where she’s willing to train him in Dust usage after beating her in a fight. He also has a loving girlfriend that’s even trying to say she’s open to his best friend joining them which was weird by the way, Ruby’s just 15.
Said best friend however pipes in and Jaune’s fight to keep his mouth shut just became even more important.
“Wait, he’s not done yet.” Ruby interrupts their friends as she watches him struggle to stop his mouth from blurting anything else.
Damn it, Ruby! He’s fighting for his life here! No need to use your weirdly adorable silver eyes to crack his resistance by making him tell you you’re cute.
“It’s okay, Jaune. You can tell us.” Pyrrha speaks gently, shooting Jaune a soft look.
That was the wrong thing to say because the moment he locks eyes with Pyrrha, his resistance crumbles.
“I also want to make sweet sweet love wi-mmmph!”
That’s when Blake jumps in. She bumps past a surprised Professor Goodwitch to slap her palm on Jaune’s mouth to stop him from blurting out his desires.
“OKAY! I think that’s enough!” She shouts and she glows red just as she feels Jaune’s tongue slide across her palm.
He is so so sorry but…he enjoys it, except for one itty bitty problem.
“I guess he is affected after all. I’m surprised though, usually people being Aura High for hours are already acting out their desires without restraint. The fact that he can struggle to keep his desires to himself just means it's another difference in an otherwise similar phenomena.”
Sounds good except for the fact that he was suffocating over here!
“Mhhmmmph!” Jaune mumbles through Blake’s palm, the sound causing her hand to vibrate and he hears her squeak at that.
“Ms. Belladonna!” Professor Goodwitch pulls her back, letting Jaune take a deep breath.
“I’m sorry!” Blake shouts quickly in apology.
Apparently, in her haste to spare Jaune and Pyrrha’s dignity, she inadvertently covered his nose together with his mouth. With his mouth free however, he speaks the desires of his heart again.
“I-it’s okay. We can try chok-mmph!”
Wow, he didn’t even know he was willing to try something like that. This is certainly a learning experience. Good thing he was stopped though. This time by a leather strap which Professor Goodwitch gags through his teeth using her Semblance.
“Uhh. Why do you have a leather strap?”
Trust Yang Xiao Long to ask the important question and distract everyone from concentrating on Jaune’s hidden fetishes.
Jaune sees Blake take the time to wipe Jaune’s saliva off of her hand on her pants while everyone is busy looking embarrassedly at Professor Glynda.
“Why do you think?” Nurse Tsune interrupts suggestively to everyone’s growing horror.
“Tsune!” Professor Glynda barks, fanning her own red cheeks herself.
Nurse Tsune only rolls her eyes at that, giving all of them a knowing smile.
“To stop people from biting their tongues if they have seizures of course.”
“Honestly…Are you satisfied with your test now?” Professor Glynda sighs out and Blake could feel her frustration mounting.
Nurse Tsune’s smile turns into a grin and Jaune could already feel he would not like her answer.
“Nope! Test is inconclusive. If he’s been awake and training since 4AM then it could just be sleep deprivation and fatigue that’s making him talk like that.”
WHY DID YOU EVEN DO IT THEN?!
“Then why did you even ask him in the first place?!” Professor Glynda shouts in his place.
“I was curious what he would say okay!” Nurse Tsune defends, raising her hands up in a placating manner.
“Fine…can he turn off his Semblance now?”
Yes please, he’s ready to finally get this over now. First it was fun feeling himself be so confident. Then it was weird when it got pointed out. Now, it’s just plain embarrassing.
“Yup, let me just get some tools ready. If his Semblance has been on for hours, there might be a negative response when he suddenly returns to his base state.” Nurse Tsune answers, grabbing what seems to be ... .an oxygen tank and defibrillators?
“Can’t he just slowly power down then?” Pyrrha cuts in, looking at the two faculty members worriedly.
Jaune only mumbles muffled sounds through the strap but he shakes his head as much as he can to convey his answer.
He can feel it in his soul. His Semblance is already operating at the lowest setting. It felt like he was carrying a full tub and once he tries to empty it, everything will just tip over. If he tries to lower it even more though it feels like it's just gonna switch off in a snap. Better to do it all at once then than prolonging it.
Now how to convey it?
“Mr. Arc, are you telling us that you are already using your Semblance at the lowest possible setting without turning it off?” Professor Glynda infers and Jaune has never been so happy for her to give him her insight.
He nods enthusiastically and that’s when Nurse Tsune finally gives the command.
“Well then, there’s nothing else to it. Turn it off, kid!”
Jaune does so and the change is immediately apparent.
It felt like he was suddenly falling despite being on the bed. From the outside, his previously bright blue eyes dims down before….
He shuts it tightly and a muffled cry of pain comes out as he grits his teeth tight on the strap. He tries to sit up but the restraints on his chest and hands prevent him from rising too much.
He was no longer falling. Instead, it felt like his chest was being crushed and something was pushing his brain out of his eye.
“””Jaune!””” Multiple voices cry out but Professor Glynda stops them from jumping in as Nurse Tsune puts a hand on Jaune’s head before smoothing out the furrows on his brow.
“Mr. Arc, can you hear me? Nod if you can.” She asks, all traces of mirth gone from her voice as she seriously assesses his condition.
Jaune nods slowly before tiredly opening his eyes as he loses strength in his limbs.
The world looks like it was suddenly moving and Jaune has the uncomfortable feeling of motion sickness creeping past his throat.
Nurse Tsune then removes the strap between his teeth even as he breathes heavily.
“Headache…dizzy….”
Then darkness.

“Headache…dizzy...”
Those were the only words Blake heard before he closed his eyes and his body went limp.
Credit where credit is due, Nurse Tsune was already jumping into action even before them. She puts a thermometer in his mouth, recalibrates her scroll to read his Aura, and brings a stethoscope to measure his heartbeat.
Blake’s heart leaps to her throat and the only thing preventing her from jumping in with Pyrrha was Professor Goodwitch scowling at them and using her Semblance to hold them still.
“Let the professional work.” She grumbles as they all look on worriedly.
“Heartbeat is regular but slightly elevated. Breathing is slowing down back to normal together with heartbeat. No signs of bleeding from eyes, ears, or nose.” Nurse Tsune reads her measurements as she quickly removes Jaune’s restraints and turns his head this way and that.
Everyone slowly begins to calm down at the list of good news but jolts when they hear a sound.
Beep!
Nurse Tsune frowns as she takes the thermometer away from Jaune’s mouth and reads it together with his Aura from her scroll.
It was never a good sign when your medic suddenly frowns and she feels Pyrrha gasp and sneak her hand into Blake’s. They grasp each other’s hand tightly as they wait for Nurse Tsune.
“Temperature…slightly higher than normal. Aura…. dropping rapidly. Preparing emergency kit.” Nurse Tsune says professionally, putting the thermometer and scroll down before bending down to the cabinet beside the bed.
Blake bites her sleep in worry when she sees Professor Tsune bring out a case from the cabinet. Opening it, she sees her take a syringe and a medical bottle full of blue liquid.
“What is that?” She whispers in horror and Professor Glynda answers for her.
“Aura Booster in its emergency form, you’re supposed to learn about it in your higher years.” Professor Glynda turns sadly to look at them.
“But…isn’t that bad, Aura High and all that?” Ruby pipes in nervously as she clutches her own sister’s arm in worry.
“Only in very large amounts in a short period of time. That much in a syringe however? Useful for stabilizing and regenerating a bit of Aura.” Professor Glynda explains as they watch Nurse Tsune rip the syringe from its case and pierce the bottle to suck out its contents.
“Why isn’t she using it then?” Pyrrha speaks impatiently when they see Nurse Tsune pause and Blake could feel her hand shake either because of herself or Pyrrha.
“I…I don’t know.”
“Aura stabilizing at 50%.” Nurse Tsune suddenly announces and everyone breathes a sigh of relief when they see her relax and drop the still full syringe in a bin. “Well, that was exciting!”
Everyone glares at Nurse Tsune at her exclamation but she only laughs it off.
“Tsune, what happened?”
Nurse Tsune suddenly looks gravely at them and Blake gulps at the sudden change of expression.
“Well, Glynda. Your student over here has a bad case of….”
They all lean forward, even Professor Goodwitch as Nurse Tsune pauses…and pauses…and pau-
“Spit it out woman! What’s Jaune-Jaune’s damage?!” Nora exclaims and none of them can blame her as all of them are getting increasingly worried, even Weiss looks on worriedly while wringing her hands.
“Exhaustion.”
What?
Blake blinks at Nurse Tsune before turning to her friends. Her friends blink back while turning to each other. Each of them trying to confirm if they heard it right.
“You heard me, your friend has a bad case of exhaustion.” Nurse Tsune continues, grave expression slowly turning into a smile that Blake now increasingly wants to punch but is too exhausted to.
It speaks a lot that even Professor Glynda growls in irritation. “Tsune..”
“Woah there, just lightening up the mood. Besides, you didn’t let me finish.”
“There’s more?!”
“Yup, he is exhausted physically because of training and spiritually because of his Semblance.”
“But his Semblance didn’t used to do that before.” Pyrrha pipes in worriedly, thinking of all the times she’s seen Jaune use his Semblance.
“Well what did it look like when he used it and for how long does he typically use it?” Nurse Tsune asks, putting a hand on her chin in thought.
“He was glowing and it was only for a few seconds but he once transferred its effects on me before.” Pyrrha remarks and Blake nods at that before she realizes the second part of her sentence.
“Transfer?” Blake asks with a blush, she didn’t know Jaune transferred his Semblance to Pyrrha. She herself felt it firsthand so she absolutely knows the feeling. It was good, soothing, and relaxing. It helped push her kiss him after all back at the docks.
“He, uhm…amplified my everything and used it to make my Semblance stronger.” Pyrrha answers shyly, Blake’s eyebrow rises in surprise at that together with the others. She didn’t know Jaune could make someone’s Semblance stronger with his.
“Well damn, VB’s just full of surprises, huh?”
Yang couldn’t have said it better. He really is just full of surprises.
“Well from what you’ve told me, he only used his Semblance for a short amount of time and even when he used it, he had an outlet to release it to.” Nurse Tsune cuts in, immediately parsing over the information.
“Outlet? Like a vent?” Ruby tilts her head in confusion.
“You can think of it like that. I assume his Aura leaking out resulted in him glowing, and even with the transfer he used on you he released it from himself. These should have prevented him from experiencing Aura High.”
“But he wasn’t glowing this time, which means no outlet and he kept it in.”
“Exactly, but more than that, he used his Semblance constantly from 4AM to now while training. That’s more than 12 hours of keeping it all inside himself without even glowing. I don’t think you realize how amazing a feat that is considering his only drawback is being exhausted.”
“I see….what should be done then?”
“Whatever his Semblance did, it only tired him spiritually and it doesn’t look like he’s broken anything physically. We’ll keep him here to rest for the night but we’ll hook him up to some vitamins to make him recover faster. After that, when he wakes up, just give him some food and rest then before you know it, he'll be back to normal. Somebody has to watch him though in case he wakes up in the middle of the night.”
“I can do it.” Pyrrha immediately pipes in from beside her without hesitation before Blake suddenly gets an idea. Before she can speak however, somebody speaks up first.
“Well that’s convenient.” Nora suddenly blurts out, attracting everyone’s attention to her. “We were wondering if we can use our ro-”
That’s when Ren suddenly covered his partner’s mouth to the surprise of everyone.
“Ahem. What my partner here is saying is that….there have been some developments on our side that requires some privacy to settle.” Ren finishes slowly with a growing tint to his cheeks.
What?
Blake blinks in confusion only for Pyrrha to suddenly gasp beside her.
“Oh gosh! Congratulations!”
“Thank you..but it was all thanks to Blake.” Ren replies with a smile aimed at her.
“Me?” She asks because what?
“Yes, if you did not give me that talk I perhaps would not have entertained any cha-”
“Ahem, I do not care what you do in private as long as it is not illegal but please talk about this among yourselves. If there is nothing else, you are dismissed.” Professor Glynda coughs and Blake is mortified to see Nurse Tsune wag her eyebrows at her.
“What?”
“I said dismissed, Ms. Belladonna. Go on.”
“No, wait. I want to st-” She starts but Pyrrha suddenly pulls her back to leave with the rest of their friends.
“Help me get some clothes for Jaune and let me sleep on your bed.”
“What?” She furrows her brows in confusion. Isn’t she staying with Jau-
“You can watch him for tonight, Blake.” Pyrrha grins conspiratorially at her as they reach the hallway.
She perks up at that, looking at Pyrrha in amazement.
“I know what you want to do, Blake. I saw it on your face.” Pyrrha only smiles ruefully at her look.
“Thank you, Pyrrha. I’ll let my team know.” She replies with a smile.
She can finally have that talk with Jaune.

P.S. Someone asked me how long this story was gonna be. From what I have planned, we are only currently at the 20%-25% of the whole series. We haven't even left Beacon yet so stay tuned for more!
If you've noticed me posting faster then its because of all of your support. As promised, when I reached $250/month, I tendered my resignation to one of my jobs. Last Monday was my last day with them. I hope to provide more chapters and stories for all of you!
By the way, I had a doctor when I was a kid. I always remember him because he introduced himself as Hu. First Name Doctor, Last Name Hu. It gave me a laugh back then and there that made me forget how nervous I was in the first place.

Sienna's Traits are her ears the tiger stipes she has are tattoos and as for Tock her traits are her scales, the sharp teeth are actually prostatic that replace her normal once's cause not only did she want an extra weapon to fall back on but to also give herself the intimidation factor to make her enemies/victims terrified of her. And thank you if there's any RWBY expertise that people need, I'm the go to guy I've been an immense help to the author I beta read for, though I probably not as good as other's but I do my best with all the stuff I've learned, anyway talk to ya more later mate take care and have a good one.

Thanks for the feedback, I always find your comments insightful. For Faunus Traits, what would Sienna Khan's trait be? Is it the skin pattern or the ears? It always made me confused especially when other Faunus characters like Tock (who have scales and really sharp teeth) are introduced. They made it seem possible that some Faunus can have more than 1 trait. Rare but possible I guess. Aura Boosters kinda like maybe just there like Dust. I can imagine a crazy scientist would try to eat Dust only to find out it will kill you bit somehow someone manages to figure out the right amount and type that can help you. The Gang should absolutely bring that up to the adults but right now they all knew they wouldn't have even been there in the first place if not for Blake's sake. So it flies just right over their heads though they wouldn't jump in into something like that headfirst from now on. (No promises in not being pulled in inadvertently though) The Talk has been a long time coming and I am excited to write it. Thank you for your congratulations and I hope you keep enjoying my stories.

Nice wasn't expecting Tsune to show up, but maybe you should just give her one Faunus Trait as there's canonically no one with two, that's just Coeur's fanon. so, either give her Fox ears or give her a Fox tale like me and the author I beta read for have. All and all not bad and sort of makes sense with impulsiveness with Aura High since you're expressing yourself more then you should and that's not a good thing all the time, also find it interesting with what the Aura Booster are made of, yet another creation of Atlas I presume. Speaking of which the Gang should at least throw it back in the teachers faces that if they did their jobs better then they wouldn't have to get involved and besides they learned valuable information that they can use in the future now thanks to their meddling. Anyways good chapter overall and I'm looking forward to the talk with Jaune and Blake finally it's been a long time coming. Also, congratulations mate on the big news parenthood is a big step in life so I'm wishing the all the best for you and your wife, anyway, take care and have a good one.
