Jaune felt a bit manipulated as he stared at Pyrrha during breakfast.
“Is something wrong, Jaune?” Pyrrha hums thoughtfully with a smile on her face.
He only shook his head at that before getting back to eating his breakfast.
Couldn’t he have just asked and got straight into it?
Yeah, but Jaune didn’t want to have any more distractions considering they were going to go on missions today and he was sure whatever talk they have about it now would just distract him the whole day. No, he could not have that on their first mission, PR work or not.
And besides, he could hardly ask Pyrrha now when he didn’t even have all the questions ironed out.
It has been a day since he and Ruby talked and he still couldn’t wrap his head around everything he heard.
He tried asking Ruby for more clarification yesterday but she only gave him a knowing smile before straightening her back and winking at him.
His heart beat fast at the reminder of what she said but he shook his head to get his mind back on track.
A harem.
His girlfriends were building him a harem.
While Pyrrha did confess about it when Weiss first joined them two nights ago, he never really got the true reason why.
He just remembers Weiss suddenly appearing behind him as both Pyrrha and Blake confessed that they couldn’t keep up with him.
At the time, his ego got stroked at the care and attention they threw at him but thinking about it now, it made no sense.
Him? Jaune Arc? The guy who only got his Aura unlocked during Initiation could outlast both Pyrrha Nikos, a four-time Regional Champion, and Blake Belladonna, a veteran ex-terrorist?
Impossible.
He looked towards Weiss, the newest addition to this strange relationship they had just to see if she had any idea.
He only sees her discreetly taking glances at him however and he sees her blush as their eyes meet before she frantically returns to playing with her breakfast. Another sausage.
He blushes himself when she takes a quick peek at him with half-lidded eyes before bringing the sausage to her lips.
No, it does not look like Weiss really knows anything other than being pulled into this and enjoying it for all its worth.
And with that thought, he remembers how he himself enjoyed the feel of her lips on his cock two nights ago.
It was now a battle to stop anyone from seeing him get all bricked up under the table. Weiss, nibbling her breakfast sausage in front of him like yesterday does not help things.
It took Blake elbowing her gently for Weiss to embarrassedly stop playing with her food.
He breathed deeply before nodding gratefully at Blake who smiled back at him.
And speaking of Blake, she was also perhaps his current number one suspect, considering all the smut she read.

That wasn’t even taking into account the fact that she was the one who pushed him and Pyrrha together.
Which brings him back to his partner. Was Pyrrha in on it too? Since when? And why was he only hearing about it now?
It’s not like…he…was going to protest too much. He blushed as that thought came to mind.
He…would have liked to say he was a righteous man. A loyal man. A good man. A man his mother would have been proud of.
But….well, the events of two nights ago have proven that he wasn’t all that. In the face of his lovers’ love and attention, Jaune Arc was a weak and lustful man.
After all, how could he resist when his girlfriends themselves offer his old crush to him on a silver platter?
He couldn’t.
Which leads him to another question, why was he bothered by this so much? It was probably because he was expected to add Ruby and Yang to his harem.
His best friend and her own sister!
He never even saw Ruby that way! She was 15! And yet, by her own admission, she was turning 16 this year. It was a fact of life that she was going to get older and Jaune did not know how to react to that.
Especially when he got confronted by Ruby inadvertently forcing a truth into his face and out of his mouth.
The only reason that he wasn’t seducing-no, seduce is a strong word.
The only reason he wasn’t making the moves on Ruby was because she was too young and he already had girlfriends.
Now that he knew what knew and he wasn’t as dense as before, he could absolutely see him and Ruby becoming an item in another life.
Sure it would take some time considering the friendship they struck up and how dense they both were, but in a world where they were the same age, he could absolutely see him and Ruby hanging out, reading X-Ray and Vav, training as team leaders together, and possibly falling in love together.
Jaune suddenly blushed as more thoughts entered his head.
Heck, he and Ruby didn’t even have to be the same age! That could have happened in this world if he never got together with Pyrrha. All they needed was a few more years and Jaune could absolutely see sweet, adorable, little Ruby grow up to be a beautiful, mature, and awesome Huntress that he could fall in love with!
It was literally the plot of the chick flicks his sisters loved to watch!
By the Gods, how did his life come to this?
She must have seen him look at her strangely at the corner of her eyes because Ruby halts her conversation with Yang and Nora before turning towards him with her bright silver eyes.
Her smile brightens their table and Jaune could already feel his heart race as she picks up a cookie from her plate and stretches her hands towards him.
“Want a cookie?” She offers with an innocent smile but everyone suddenly falls silent at her question before snapping towards them.
Everyone knows Ruby’s cookies were precious to her. Only Nora’s obsession with her pancakes trumps Ruby’s possessiveness so everyone there knew just how big it was that Ruby was offering him a cookie of her own volition.
Jaune froze at the sudden attention and he could only gulp as he shook his head.
“I-I’m good.”
Ruby pouted at that and-oh no.
Her hand holding the cookie shook and her eyes brightened with tears at his rejection.
“Eat. The. Cookie.” Yang growled from beside Ruby and Ruby only shook harder as Jaune leaned away from the sudden hostility.
Say what you will about Yang but she was damn protective whenever it came to her sister. So it was just baffling to notice her attitude towards him become so open when it comes to him interacting with Ruby. Gone were the threats to not defile her sister since she learned he was in a relationship with both Pyrrha and Blake.
All that remained were a few looks and a shrug and heck, she even sometimes flirted with him but that was a problem for later.
He winced as he felt Pyrrha dig an elbow at his side.
“Come on, Jaune. It’s not everyday Ruby offers you her cookie.” Pyrrha smiled with a glint in her eye that he could only notice knowing what he knew now.
He had to reevaluate Blake being the driving force in their harem building plan and change it into Pyrrha just because of how enthusiastic she was with him interacting with other girls.
“Alright, alright. I’ll eat the cookie.” He grumbled as he felt everyone’s teasing smiles with Weiss as the only exception.
Weiss only looked at him with judging eyes and Jaune winced as he reached for the cookie only for Ruby to pull it away from him.
“Say aaahhhhh.”
Jaune blushed at that even as Ruby smiled innocently at him.
Positioned as they were, he would have to stand and lean across the table if he decided to eat the cookie. He would have to expose himself to everyone there in the Dining Hall and let them see him eating out of Ruby’s hand.
Others might find her smile playful as they laughed at the two of them but Jaune could only see a teasing grin on her face where others might find innocence.
Gods, teased by a 15 year old. What has his life come to?
“Ruby, I have a girlfriend.” He protests one last time, looking to Blake for help only to see her shaking her head with a grin on her face.
“I’m not complaining. I know how close you and Ruby are as best friends.”
“Yeah! Best friends feed each other all the time, Jaune!” Ruby agreed enthusiastically and Jaune could only shake his head at her logic.
“Since when have we fed each other?”
“Since today.” Ruby happily retorts and just like that, his fate was sealed.
He saw Ren clap his hands in prayer for his dignity and Jaune could only sigh as he stood up from his seat.
As he leaned over however, a vindictive side of him rears its head.
He bites down on the cookie in Ruby’s hand, allows his lips to kiss her fingers even as she gasps, and looks straight into her silver eyes as he growls one word.
“Yum.”
“PINEAPPLE!”
Weiss slammed her hand on the table, freezing Jaune mid-smirk as he looked at Ruby’s suddenly blushing face.
Their safeword.
Jaune immediately dropped his smirk and slowly sat back on his seat.
“You want some pineapple juice, Weiss?” Blake asked gently beside her, her eyes flicking worriedly towards Jaune and Pyrrha before looking back towards Weiss.
As everyone turned towards Weiss however, Jaune’s eyes widened at the sight of her gritting her teeth and clenching her hand.
Weiss breathed deeply as her eyes narrowed towards Jaune. “Yes, I find myself craving pineapple juice.” She says flatly and Jaune could only look at the hurt in her eyes.
It did not take a genius to know that she wasn’t really looking for pineapple juice and Ruby and Yang stayed silent as they felt the tension rise.
“Wow, all that for some pineapple juice? You didn’t have to slam the table so hard.” Nora waved her hand dismissively, oblivious to the tension suddenly building between the table.
Weiss however nodded, still keeping her sights at Jaune who only stayed silent. “Forgive me, I find myself ill-tempered when…I do not get my cravings.”
“Huh, preach sister. I guess I could understand that, I wouldn’t know what to do if I didn't get my pancakes.” Nora shrugged, single handedly carrying the conversation on their table even as Ren rolled his eyes at her.
“I know what you would do. You would destroy the kitchen in your search for pancakes before forcing me to make you some.”
“Hey! Weiss already said it! We get cranky when we don’t get our cravings!” Nora yelled, stabbing a pancake as Weiss nodded sagely.
“Well said, Nora. Well said.”
“Yeah, so are you going to get that pineapple juice anytime soon? We don’t want you blowing up again.” Nora asked, getting Pyrrha to nod quickly beside him in an attempt to ease the tensions between them.
“Right, I’ll go get it. I find myself craving it too!” Pyrrha said with one of her plastic smiles attached to her face.
Jaune knew Pyrrha wasn’t really happy with Weiss’ sudden reaction but a safeword is a safeword. They needed to abide by it and Jaune could only stay seated as he looked at Weiss worriedly.
Weiss however only shook her head. “I want Jaune to get it.”
Everyone looked towards him at that and he could only nod slowly as he stood up on his seat.
Weiss was not done however.
“I would also like some bread with pineapple jam with it.”
Was this to be his punishment? Ordered around and sent on errands?
He nods if only to placate Weiss for now but he was sure there were going to be words between them.
As he turns around however, he hears Weiss call out to him again.
“Make sure to bring one for everyone on the table too. We don’t know who might suddenly crave for some pineapple.”
Her eyes flicked towards Yang and Ruby who was fidgeting with her fingers beside her. Before he could even walk a step however, Beacon’s announcement system suddenly turned on.
Riiiiiiingggg!
The bell rang and Professor Glynda Goodwitch’s voice boomed out.
“All first years, prepare for your missions. I repeat, all first years, prepare for your missions. Be at the Beacon Docks in fifteen minutes!”
Saved by the bell, literally.

Weiss stepped frantically towards the girls’ locker room to change into her combat attire while ignoring her friends’ calls.
Stupid, stupid, stupid!
Why did she react like that?!
She still remembers his stupid grin and that growl in his voice that she didn’t know could turn her own but the moment she realized it wasn’t aimed at her and was instead aimed towards Ruby, Weiss’ chest tightened.
All she could see at that moment was Neptune smiling at the other girls around him.
It tore at her so much that she almost forgot to breathe. She slammed her locker door open hard and quickly divested herself of her school uniform’s blouse in hopes of letting herself breathe easier.
“Weiss, are you okay?”
She gasps sharply however when she hears Ruby’s confused voice beside her. She took a peek at her partner and bit her lip at the sight of worried silver eyes aimed at her.
Did she….Did she truly not know?!
“Not now, Ruby.” She shoots back perhaps a bit too sharply even for her own liking but Ruby only winces lightly before nodding at her and turning towards her own locker.
She hears Yang growl behind her however but Blake moves between them and nudges Yang to her own locker.
“Are you okay?” Blake asks softly from her other side and Weiss could only nod stiffly at the concern in her voice.
“Y-Yes. Let’s just get ready for our mission.” She says quickly, ending any conversation they could have for good reason.
She knew of course that they needed to talk but now was not the time and here was not the place.
Not only were they busy getting their combat gear, they were also out in public where anyone listening could hear them.
She could hear chatter coming from all over the place as Huntresses-in-Training used the area to change and talk with their teammates. And if she could hear them, then any sensitive conversation they could have would be heard by others as well.
“Hey, Weiss! Jaune-Jaune got you some pineapple juice!” Nora called out, freezing Weiss in her tracks just as she was about to remove her skirt.
She turns around and locks eyes with a grinning Nora who throws her a can of said pineapple juice.
“No playing in the lockers!” She reprimands reflexively even as her hand automatically catches the object and Nora sticks her tongue out at her.
She looks down at the can of pineapple juice in her hands before sighing loudly with a small blush on her face. As far as peace offerings go, it was paltry but it at least showed he still cared about her.
She is taken out of her wistfulness however when Pyrrha walks confidently beside Nora in front of her own locker.
“Jaune didn’t manage to get some bread with pineapple jam in them but he hopes this satisfies your cravings.” Pyrrha added cooly and Weiss could only gulp as her emerald eyes bore into hers.
“T-Thank you.” She squirmed uncomfortably before resuming to change into her combat attire.
It was obvious that Pyrrha was not happy with her earlier actions and she was sure there would be a stern conversation coming her way yet despite that, Weiss does not regret it one bit.
At the time, stopping Jaune from flirting with Ruby seemed like the only thing she could do to stop herself from suffocating.
The thought brings another question to mind however.
Why were Jaune and Ruby flirting with each other?!
It galls her to admit it but she was self-aware enough to know that her reaction could only stem from one emotion.
Jealousy.
It was illogical considering she was already sharing Jaune with both Blake and Pyrrha but when she saw all of Jaune’s attention were aimed towards Ruby, Weiss wanted to hog Jaune for herself.
Only her pride stopped her from doing such a public display of affection though it acted as a double-edged sword. The same pride that allowed her to restrain herself pushed her to treat Jaune harshly.
And all of it was because he was flirting with Ruby instead of her.
She breathed deeply but she couldn’t stop herself from gazing at her partner besides her with narrowed eyes. Weiss freezes however when she sees Ruby’s form wearing only her underwear. She was only fifteen but everyone looking could see that Ruby was coming along nicely.
She tore her gaze away and looked down at herself as she bit her lips in frustration. An ugly feeling welled up within her heart as her insecurity rears its head.
Was that why Jaune was flirting with Ruby? Because he knew she was going to be more developed than her in just a few years?
She thought she was already past this but it seems she was not. She changed quickly into her combat attire, stored her school uniform, and grabbed Myrtenaster with her Dust cartridges.
A wet feeling stirred up in her chest as she slammed her locker closed and walked away without waiting for her team.
With their combat gear secured, it was now time to get their camping supplies. With them having to go to Mountain Glenn for their mission, Ruby had them preparing supplies good for almost a week.
Supplies they already managed to gather and store in their dorm. Their dorm where they can have some privacy.
Weiss opened their door and was immediately greeted by Zwei. She gasped as the furry corgi leapt towards her feet and her hand moved automatically to pet its head.
Zwei moves past her and through the door in no time however and a cold hand grips her heart as she hears his owner.
“Weiss, oof!”
“Okay! What was that shit?!” Yang interrupted, leaving her sister behind her as she nudged Weiss closer into their room.
“Language!” Weiss flinched at the protectiveness radiating off of Yang but it didn’t take long before Weiss was shooting back with fire of her own.
“But yes, what was that?!” She screams, deflecting Yang’s question as she glares at Ruby with Blake closing the doors behind her.
Ruby flinched at the sudden vitriol thrown at her. While Yang follows Weiss’ gaze, she still shoves her with a shoulder before looking curiously towards her sister.
“You didn’t have to be mean about it, Weiss, but yeah. What’s up, Rubes?”
“W-what?! I don’t know what you’re talking about!” Ruby shouted, petting Zwei as the corgi jumped into her arms.
Weiss only ogled Ruby in disbelief. She….She really didn’t know?!
Ruby’s eyes look warily between her and Yang but luckily for them, Blake puts a hand on her shoulder and nudges her forward to the middle of the room to explain.
“Ruby, you gave Jaune one of your cookies. You fed him with your own hand. I’ve never done that and everyone knows me as his girlfriend. So while Weiss might have overreacted a bit, everyone is curious to what suddenly changed when you were just avoiding him yesterday.”
Weiss’ eye twitched as her jealousy was called an overreaction but she remained silent as they all looked towards their leader, curious to hear her answer even as Weiss grappled with her feelings.
She didn’t hate Ruby, not really. It broke her heart that she was feeling like this but she just couldn’t help it.
It galls her to admit but Weiss Schnee was just plain jealous of Ruby Rose. Ruby was already handed the leadership of their team and now she was getting Jaune’s attention as well. She could only stomach handing one of those to her younger friend.
So she looked on intensely as her partner’s eyes widened at all their gazes.
“W-What?! That is what this is all about?!”
“What else could it be?” Weiss shoots back, finding herself agitated at her partner’s ignorance.
“I don’t know! I thought you just wanted some pineapple and were just cranky like Nora said!”
Weiss’ face went red at that even as Blake laughed heartily behind Ruby.
“It was just an excuse, Ruby. Pineapple is our safeword.” Blake explains with a big smile on her face.
Weiss hand reaches up to cover her face in embarrassment even as Yang and Ruby flicked their gazes between her and Blake.
“...Kinky.” Yang muttered with wide eyes aimed at her to Weiss’ embarrassment.
“Yang!” Weiss shrieked embarrassedly even as Ruby tilted her head.
“What’s a safeword?”
“Yeah, Weiss. What’s a safeword?” Blake laughed, throwing the question towards her with a grin on her face.
“I-It’s a word that when used means we all stop whatever we are doing.” She answers embarrassedly, looking away from all of them.
Ruby’s eyes widened at that however.
“Oooohhhhh, so that’s what it was. Why did you say it then?”
A vein pops on Weiss’ forehead at that and she immediately turns back towards her partner.
“Y-You! You really don’t know what you were doing?! You were flirting with Jaune!” She snaps, eyes widening as she sees Ruby finally beginning to understand as a blush crept up her face.
“T-That?! That wasn’t flirting! That was teasing!”
“Look me in the eye and tell me you didn’t blush when he teased you back.” Weiss growled back flatly and as expected, Ruby looks away with a blush on her face.
Seeing her chance, Weiss finally points a finger at her partner’s blushing face.
“See! It was flirting! You were flirting!”
She gets flat-footed however when Ruby opens her mouth.
“Okay, fine! It was flirting but so what?!” Ruby asks back, crossing her arms and raising an eyebrow.
Weiss chokes on air as she gasps at Ruby’s response.
“So what?! SO WHAT?! You don’t see what’s wrong with that?!”
“Nope!”
Never has Weiss wanted to strangle her best friend more than today and it was only because of Yang putting a hand on her shoulder that was stopping her.
“Ruby, you were flirting with Jaune. Your male best friend.” Yang adds in with wide eyes and disbelief in her voice.
“And? You flirt with him all the time, Yang!”
“I-I do not!” Yang looked away at that but Ruby only stared at her with a straight face.
“You literally stood in front of him in your underwear and then posed.”
A furious blush spread over Yang’s face at that even as Weiss remembers the incident the morning after she….sucked Jaune’s dick.
She gasps lightly at the memory but is snapped out of her memory when Yang bumps into her in her effort to back away from Ruby.
“I-I had a hangover then.” Yang defends weakly to which Ruby only snorts.
“Excuses.”
The word jostles her brain and Weiss suddenly regains her wits. Finally seeing her chance, she points a finger at Ruby as she walks in front of her again.
“And what’s your excuse, huh?! You flirted with him just this breakfast when you were both sober!”
“And what’s wrong with that, huh?! It’s not like you have something to be……jealous of.” Ruby scowls before her silver eyes slowly started to widen as Weiss squirmed uncomfortably at her partner slowly realizing her true feelings.
“Oh my Gods. You’re jealous.” Ruby mutters again with wide eyes, to which Weiss only shrieks embarrassedly.
“And what’s wrong with that, huh?! I like him! I like him a lot!” She throws back Ruby’s own reply before admitting her own feelings out loud.
It was the first time she has ever said those words out loud and she finds the release saying the words cathartic. She loses the fight in her and slumps tiredly as she looks at Ruby with tears in her eyes and a pout on her face.
“Weiss, I’m sorry-”
“Stop.” Blake cuts in, shaking her head as she pats Ruby’s shoulder. “Ruby, you don’t have to be sorry about that. And yes, Weiss, there is something wrong about that.”
“What? Am I not allowed to feel jealous then?” She asks sharply, rubbing the tears away from her eyes with a scowl on her face.
Blake however only shakes her head at that.
“No, that’s not what I was talking about. You are allowed to feel jealous but while it is normal and even expected in our relationship, you have no right to lash out at Ruby.”
“Do you think I want to?” She says softly while ashamedly looking away from all of them.
Blake sighed tiredly at that.
“I know you don’t but this needs to be said because if you lash out at Ruby then what next? Are you going to lash out at me and Pyrrha too?”
Her eyes widened at that.
“Of course not!” She denies instantly because what right did she have to do so when they were the ones to invite her and accept her with open arms.
Blake smiled at that before nodding towards Ruby.
“Good, then give Ruby the same courtesy. And, Ruby, mayhaps a little bit of warning that you want to join the harem would have gone a long way towards preventing something like this. I’m sure Weiss was just worried you were going to steal Jaune away.” Blake finished, walking towards Weiss and squeezing her arm comfortingly with a soft smile on her face.
She smiled wryly at how transparent she was and she and Ruby both looked apologetically at each other.
“I’m sorry, Weiss, I didn't actually mean to steal him from any of you. It’s just that-”
“Wait! You want to join the harem?!” Yang interrupts with wide eyes, rapidly walking towards Ruby and laying her hands on her shoulders.
Ruby however, contrary to everyone’s expectations, only sighs tiredly at her sister.
“See, this is what I was trying to talk about. It’s always been Jaune this, Jaune that, and the harem with all of you! I just wanted to see what was up!”
Weiss blinked. Blake blinked. But Yang only shouted in disbelief.
“And so you decided you want to join the harem because of that?!”
“I mean I talked to Jaune about it-”
“”WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU TALKED TO JAUNE?!”” Weiss and Yang shouted at the same time as Blake’s eyebrows climbed upward.
Ruby flinches at their shout but scowls as she continues.
“Ow! As I was saying! I talked to him about him stealing my team!” Ruby shouted, stunning them with her words.
….Stealing their team?
Weiss’ mouth opened and closed at that even as Ruby pointed a finger at her and Blake.
“First it was Blake but ever since Weiss joined them it has always been Jaune this and Jaune that! So yeah, I’ve decided I’m open to it and want to see what’s up!”
She looked guiltily at Blake at that. Were they really so wrapped up in Jaune that Ruby as their team leader felt neglected by her own team?
It was quite possibly true if Ruby felt she had to resort to flirting with Jaune just to feel included.
“Ruby, I’m sorry we made you feel that way.” Blakes apologize sincerely as Weiss nods with her own words.
“R-Right, you know we won’t neglect you just because of Jaune.”
“Y-Yeah. You don’t need to join the harem just to feel included. Look at me, I’m not part of the harem.” Yang says shakily to which Ruby only rolled her eyes.
“Come on, Yang. Even I can see you are open to it. You’ve flirted with him!”
“You’re too young!” Yang replies automatically with a furious blush on her face.
Weiss and Blake waited for Ruby to blow up, they all knew she was sensitive about how young she was compared to them but contrary to their expectations, Ruby only shrugs.
“I’ll grow older. I told Jaune the same thing.”
“W-What?” Yang asked with wide eyes even as Weiss and Blake blinked in surprise.
Told...Jaune the same thing? She's talked with Jaune about this?! Even Weiss didn't have the courage to do that she literally needed Blake and Pyrrha's help to get pushed over the edge!
“What exactly did you tell Jaune, Ruby?” Blake asks and Weiss sees the moment a mischievous smile grew on her partner’s face.
“I told him to seduce me when I’m older.”
“WHAT?!” Weiss cries out instantly as Yang fell to her knees.
S-Seduce her?! What was she even saying?!
"Yeah, I just want to see what has all of you always talking about him and besides.....he's a good man." Ruby shrugs before finishing her words with a slight blush on her face.
"That he is, that he is." Blake repeats and Weiss could only nod absently in agreement.
Weiss could hardly fault Ruby for being attracted to a good man not when she attached herself to the same but pers but still....
Hearing it out loud still jarred Weiss but it did let her breathe easy now that they knew Ruby’s rationale. While the tight feeling in her chest wasn’t completely gone, it was easier to breathe now and she was able to look at Ruby with less bitterness than before.
“How do you even do this?” She smiled brittlely at Blake who opted to move beside her.
“By talking, mostly. And I trust Jaune not to sideline us just because he has more girls now.” Blake smiles at her meaningfully, making Weiss blush as they turn to watch Yang frantically shake her sister.
Perhaps Jaune really won’t abandon her just because he had Ruby as another potential lover. It was the case when Weiss joined after all, even then, he didn’t magically just stop loving Pyrrha and Blake.
Perhaps she didn’t really have anything to be jealous of after all? Provided they talk of course.
“Why?! Why, Ruby, why?! Why would you suddenly jump into a harem because of that?! You know we won’t really love you! Oh Gods, this is bad….this is really really bad!” Yang mutters in mortification but Ruby rolls her eyes at that.
“I’m not going to be suddenly jumping into the harem, Yang. I said I’m just open to joining it for now.”
Weiss blinked and even Blake tilted her head beside her.
“Wait, what do you mean by that?” Weiss asks with a frown on her face.
Ruby only shrugs casually at her however.
“I said what I meant. I’m only open to it right now. I’m not like you or Blake or even Pyrrha. I’m his best friend and yeah, maybe Pyrrha was right that he could also be my boyfriend but like I told Jaune, he has to actually seduce me if he wants me. I’m not going to jump on him like you all did.”
Weiss’ eyes widened at that, her mind whirling around Ruby’s words and at the implication of her jumping Jaune’s bones even without him seducing her.
“I-what? That’s not what happened! I did not jump on Jaune!” Weiss denies but she blushes as she hears Blake cough embarrassedly.
Ruby however only looked at her with a straight face
“Please, Weiss. I heard a lot while you guys were in the showers. Jaune didn’t even know you saw him like that before you were suddenly glurk-glurking him!”
That….she cannot deny. She gawks with an embarrassed blush on her face at the reminder of Ruby hearing all of that.
“Can we please stop calling it glurk-glurking?” Yang asks with a pale face.
“What do you call it then?”
“Yes, Yang. What do we call it then?” Blake laughed at Ruby’s question before pointedly teasing Yang.
“M-Maybe Weiss should answer this one since she was the one who did it!” Yang immediately deflects, looking at her with apologetic eyes.
Weiss gawks but it was too late, Ruby was already looking at her intently.
“...Coward.” She mutters at Yang’s direction before turning to Ruby with a deep breath.
Ruby’s wide eyes were curious though there was a bit of shyness in them. Was Weiss really going to explain how she pleasured Jaune to Ruby? She frowns but she opens her mouth and….
“Maybe Blake could answer this considering she has the most experience.”
….and throws Blake under the bus.
“Cowards.” Blake rolled her eyes at both her and Yang and Weiss could only cringe apologetically at her friend. “You do know I really will tell her, right?”
Weiss looked away with a blush on her face but she saw Yang gulp and nod nervously from the corner of her eyes.
“S-She’s old enough if she’s already thinking about joining a harem.”
“Still just open about it, Yang, but come on already, tell me what it’s really all about. I know that it has something to do with your mouth seeing as how Weiss loves playing with her sausages.” Ruby said impatiently to Weiss’ further embarrassment.
Weiss promptly chokes on her spit and her eyes bulge out at that while Blake only laughed uproariously however.
For someone supposedly so reserved, she sure does love to laugh her heart out when it comes to Weiss’ misery. As her laughs finally dies, Blake wipes the happy tears from her eyes and opens her mouth to speak.
“First of all, it is called a-”
Knock! Knock!
“Uhm, guys? Not to hurry you up too much but we really need to get to the docks!”
Jaune’s muffled voice calls out from behind their door and Weiss sees all of them blush at the same time. Even Ruby, who Weiss felt like had control of most of their conversation, flushed pretilly at the sound of Jaune’s interruption.
“C-Coming!” Ruby called out as Yang let out a heated breath and Blake chuckled embarrassedly.
“Right, maybe we should let Jaune explain.” Blake called out, making Ruby squeak and Yang choke on her spit as they moved to grab their bags, Weiss however had something else to do.
She walked purposely to their door and pulled the door open to everyone’s surprise.
“Weiss! I-oof!” Jaune calls out with wide eyes but Weiss interrupts him.
She pulls him inside their door room and immediately hugs him even with the door open.
“I’m sorry.” She whispers and she feels all her jealousy flow out as he hugs her back.
“It’s okay but we really need to talk.” Jaune whispers back and Weiss only nods with a blush on her face.
Perhaps Blake really was right. That all they needed to do was talk to each other and trust that Jaune would not leave them all of a sudden.
She sees Pyrrha peer at her approvingly from behind Jaune and Weiss decides she’s monopolized his time enough.
“R-Right. Let’s go get to our missions!” She calls out embarrassedly and hears Ruby shout from behind her.
“Hey, that’s my line!”
And just like that, they all walk together towards the docks, free of any jealousy even as she walks beside Ruby while Blake and Pyrrha flank Jaune in front of them. She could hear Yang grumbling from behind them but that’s only because she was in charge of handling Zwei during transport.
Apparently, some Huntsmen bring pets when they are in the field and by Ruby’s recommendation, Zwei is the best pet there is.
As they reach the docks however, she pauses as she sees Winter waiting for them.
“Winter! You are here! Are you the one we need to shadow for our mission?!” She squealed excitedly as she rushed towards her with wide eyes while Jaune and Pyrrha looked for Ren and Nora
Her smile fell however when Winter shook her head.
“Sadly, no, I have been assigned to smoothen relationships with the local police forces together with some teams.” Winter says as she looks at Weiss’ team behind her even as Weiss perks up.
PR work for the police! That could only mean one thing. She turns to look for Jaune’s team to point them out to Winter but freezes as she sees something that chills her blood.
Weiss could already see him shaking hands with another woman and as if by Fate’s own design, they turned towards her direction, or more specifically her sister’s direction.
Teams. Her sister was going to guide teams.
Which means Jaune was going to work with another team. Weiss could only assume the other team was the one they were currently speaking to, and as Jaune leads them towards their direction, Cinder Fall smiles right at them.
Jealousy, thy name was Weiss Schnee.

Good to see this update. Love the communication that everyone is doing. Like I said before it's nice that you aren't having them hold on to their feelings for more angst and instead have them talk and resolve it before anything else happens. Keep up the good work!

Good to see that they're starting to work it out as a team! Just a couple of quibbles: * "... not when she attached herself to the same but pers but still...." There might have been a repeated 'but' here; perhaps "... the same person, but still...." ? * "... You know we won’t really love you!" Perhaps it's 'leave', not 'love'? Having the latter sounds... cruel to Ruby, coming from Yang XD

Well for Jaune's endurance it could come from ether his Dad or Mother 8 kids, even if one or two births were twins that's a lot of loving. Good on the Weiss part in that with well structured harems if you're bringing a new person you have to give them time to adjust to the dynamic before bringing more people in or at least speak and explain the current situation, like tell Weiss that he didn't just wake that morning and say "I feel like seducing Ruby".
