I agree and hope for everything you said as well, except for the scar thing. While Vanetta seems self conscious about them, I feel that without them there would be even more self doubt about her beauty. Like, "you only think I'm beautiful because I no longer have the scars". They seem to be from something traumatic, so it would probably be fine for her to get rid of them after she is convinced that she is beautiful and cute with them, though.
