I think Nick's sense of humor is really unique and hilarious. That early 2000s edgy/ immature high school friend hang out humor is definitely nostalgic and gets me in tears every time, it has it's niche appeal. I think it's hard to work his perspective, phrasing, timing and sense of humor into the context of standup comedy, which is kind of a dated medium of entertainment in the modern sense. Don't get me wrong, I died at one of his live shows but some of his bits just seemed like they were hard to fit and word into a stand up performance. Idk I think these guys are just, not exactly mass appeal, but that's OK.

Nicky’s special wasn’t much better than the stuff Normand, Gilly, Sodey and Attell (and probably a few others) have been putting out. I think he’s probably a better standup than was reflected in the special, and hope the next one;s better and I’m gay

Nick is legitimately the funniest person under 40. His standup special is the funniest one that has come out in recent memory. I honestly think any of what he perceives as his "failures" are just the result of him not liking people and subsequently not getting opportunities or praise from said people. That's basically it. The entertainment business is fickle and other people in the business will care less about raw talent and care more about how people treat them and feeling respected. Nick needs to quit kratom and whatever else he's doing, get back to being super healthy, and get back on the blue chew. Adam is also incredibly talented in different ways. His recent interview with Steve-O is testament to that. He is sincerely more entertaining in the interview/talk show role format than most current hosts are. Please keep doing TAFS!
