I have talked to some at the konbini. I pretended to be really amazed and impressed with their bikes... they seem to like that. My wife told me not to talk to them too. "Scary"... but I knew some Rebels in Australia and they make bousozoku look like hairdressers. :-D

Yeh, In Yokohama, cops do very little too. Pinch Aussie fella, for lane-splitting though.......mongrels 😂 .Cops 🇯🇵 are pretty good actually. Seems to be, far less ego than other western countries ie US, especially from southern states.

However, I havent heard Bousozoku for many months (strange, I wonder why). As you say, they are mostly juvenile delinquents.......some may graduate to Yakuza. I sometimes chat with them and checkout their bikes.......they dont seem to mind, when you take an interest in their weird machine. Maybe because Im gijin they are OK.......my daughters tell me "dad dont talk to them, they're scary" 😂. Not really, young punks finding their identity IMO
