I lost it with the lonely guy scooping up the mud with his trowel XD Again there isn't much in the way of insulation. The materials exist though, I saw one guy buy them for his own akiya restoration project!

The upside is that the house in question will have a new lighter roof and will last many more years. A far better option than demolition and collapse in the case of an earthquake.
