hope y'all doing good today!
I have big news. today roads have finally received their new textures and shader settings I've been working on the past weeks I really hope you like them as much as I do as it took much time getting to here :)
Also we got new road signs bridges and sound barriers this time. Currently due to being a bit short on time I have only updated the Autobahn and bundesstraße (3 lane and 2 lane road) the rest will get updated over time. Also I have been working on an custom GrassFX texture, if everything works as I imagine GrassFX would bring us updated more realistic looking grass, wheat, corn, canola and various tall grass variations.(but wont promise anything since I didnt came to test it yet currently finishing the texture)
Thankfully the performance didnt change much with this latest change (it maybe got a bit better here and there)
Later when I have finished the road replacing and paintlines + grassfx texture I will probably start looking out for new tree and bush textures just to make it even better :)
or it could also be that I start again on expanding the map with new driveable areas and more finished looking forests/vegetation.
INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS:
- Open OMEGA's Hometown zip
- Find Zip password in EULA.pdf
- Extract om_hometown folder into your Assetto Corsa Tracks folder (CM drag'n'drop does not work) Also do not use Windows explorer extractor - use 7zip or Winrar (or similar) instead.

CSP minimum: 0.1.75
Reshade working version: 4.9.1 (latest reshade WONT work!)
For the best experience set these settings as shown:
- CSP Settings->Graphic Adjustments->Adaptive clip planes->Set far plane values to 30000, 40000
- CSP Settings->General patch settings->Physics tweaks->Use custom raycasting-> tick (enabled)
