Finally have some time to catch up with your work here on Patreon and wanted to ask how you are doing now? Not that you need to answer - use your time for you! But want to make sure you know this community here is rooting for you, and I hope you are feeling so much better now. And if it helps, I have enjoyed and appreciated *every single comic of yours* that I've ever seen. They are filled with such humanity and it's a gift that you share them / yourself / your journey with us. Your comics around mental health have helped me with my own work and perspective shifts in my relationship with myself. I'm so grateful for what you put out into the world!

Family staying with us in town all week, I feel these as I try to avoid falling back into old patterns with them. Despite what your brain says, you're awesome and worth it!

I feel this so hard. But I literally get super excited any time I see the notification that you sent a new post! Thanks for continuing to share such vulnerable, relatable content for us all

Was thinking of the practice of externalizing shown in your comic. I’m a therapist, and one of the ways I’ve loved seeing one of my clients cope with their negative voice is by referring to it as their “brain weasels.” I like externalizing the negativity by giving it a silly name too, and I feel like that helps to lessen the weight or give them/their partner a way to feel a sense of comfort through labeling and validation. “Honey, you got the brain weasels today?” Is a funnier and kinder way to approach it sometimes too lol than saying “having a bad mental health day?” As always love your art!!

My therapist always says "every day is a new chance. Whatever shit day yesterday was, doesn't matter today. And if the new day is also shit, then we try to survive and start again tomorrow" It helps me a lot to know that the past days don't influence the next day"
