Hiking There VS Back

I forced myself to go on my first hike ever and it was so rewarding ❤️ I plan on hiking quite a bit this summer! Here’s a picture of Silver Falls (where I hiked), you can walk behind the giant waterfall!

Happiest of Birthdays Meg! When struggling while feeling low I found forcing myself to to be outside and going for walks to be extremely beneficial. Especially if I challenged myself to be present in my environment rather than rerunning negative thoughts.

Love walking/hiking in nature! Just gotta prep my thighs beforehand to avoid the dreaded thigh chaffing. Gold Bond Friction Defense is a godsend. Nature does the same; really helps my depression. Love hearing the birds sing. Good for you taking that step!

Happy birthday, and I hope the depression beast lets up for a while. I know with me it's all cyclical, and it never truly goes away even with my meds and self-care. But I hope you can find some joy! I went to Silver Falls once and it's gorgeous! Walking behind that waterfall was super cool
