Pirate is in my top 10 for sure, it hits a little more now that 40 is in the rear view mirror. So many good songs it is hard to choose. This time of year Boat Drinks is my mood, 1°F up here in da Yoop with well over a foot of snow. Schoolboy Heart is one I hope to achieve some day. If you ever want to squawk about JB's music fire away. Fins Up Moga!

YES! I love Aurora! There is something about her music that just makes you want to forget life and dance!

Ahh yes, my "Big Feelings" playlist has: The Real Folks Blues by The Seatbelts(These Days version, oof it hits hard), Tank! By The Seatbelts, Wicked Game by Chris Isaak, Running up that hill by Kate Bush. I also listened to a lot of BG3 music because Borislav Slavov writes such bangers, I Want To Live and The Power are always getting played.
Matt Cabel
Meg, I love all of your work but this one really hits home for me. Music has always been a constant in my life, especially in the days before I found out I have adhd/depression - it helps silence my busy head. I listen to a lot of instrumental music especially when I’m working - classical, lofi, etc. the Substack Flow State has given me a ton of good focusing music recommendations! Outside of that I listen to a lot of Cory Wong

I will start listening to the songs from "The hunchback of Notre Dame", "Pokahontas" and "Beauty and the Beast", that always helps. 🌈

Black Diamond by Half Moon Run. Favorite song by my favorite band, helps get me out of my own head for sure

I find the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy radio play great for turning off my brain for a while!
Emiliano Perez
"Aurora - Animal" and "Martin Garrix - Animals" always give me a pump vibe to forget about everything and dance, sometimes even on the street, I love those songs

YAY! I am a huge fan of the games, but I would listen to the soundtracks regularly even if I wasn't.
Michaela Austin
Same! I'm so glad that other people use Supergiant game soundtracks too. I'm not into the games at all, but the soundtrack for Transistor and Bastion are just so calming.

"Bubbles Up" by Jimmy Buffett helps center me.

The soundtracks for the games from Supergiant always hit the spot for me when I need my quiet my brain. The soundtracks for Transistor and Hades are especially good.

If you’re more of a rock fan, Heroes by David Bowie is great. Or more of an Electronic pop fan, When by Moyka. If you like classical sounding music, Hoppipolla by sigur ros. :)
