Comic Redraw Project
🕑 Added 2025-02-18 01:55:59 +0000 UTCFound a trove of 654* comics I drew from 2016-2018 and decided to redraw my favorites as a mini Patreon project. Expect some more in the future weeks π₯°β€οΈ
*thereβs a lot of repeats in the folder I found so itβs probably closer to 300 comics.

Great question! I use the original as a thumbnail and draw directly over it. But it is less like tracing and more like using the old one as an under-sketch to build on. I change a lot of things as I do the updated lineart, colors, etc! The funniest thing is that these old comics would take me 4-6 hours to draw, the updated ones take me about 1-2 hours. I think a lot of time is used to flesh out the concept and it goes by faster when I already know what Iβm going to draw!

Thatβs a great question! I didnβt even realize I drew different clothes! The updated version definitely reflects our current styles more π

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.... what's mine is mine, what's yours is also MINE! Gotta love the bartering system we have with spouses! Truth be told, my husband has great legs, and if he wore a dress I'd be pretty jealous of how good he'd look!

did you update the clothes to reflect your current styles or just felt like drawing different ones?

I love your work new and old!

I love this! Iβm curious what your thought process is when you redraw something. Are you looking at it from a perspective of updating it to your current style? Or?
